thank you for this plugin, I needed to manage VAT for a client’s membership website, and this plugin helped a lot.

I added some extra functionalities needed for my project, some of which have also been requested in this support forum.

I have a strange problem with your plugin. It wont show any VAT info in the Invoice, in RCP backend for customerpayments nor the customers own “Invoice list”. It shows the wrong amount that the customer payed. But when I look at the payments in Stripe, it’s the right amount. This is a big issue since the customer are paying the right amount but it says otherwise in RCP.

Can you please help me with this?

I have detected the following:

When filling in the registration data, specifically the field “Company VAT number” with the Spanish identity number for freelancers that is of the format of eight numbers and one letter at the end (12345678p), when you click on the register button, the following error appears in Red:

Error :: 12346578p INVALID_INPUT
VAT Number and Country mismatch 77 / Es

Hello sir,
First of all, I congratulate you on the plugin.

The only thing that is missing is that it reflects the fields in the invoice:
* Company name
* Company VAT number
* Adress

and that “adress” and “postcode”, and all vat fields were not mandatory, in case the client does not want to invoice.
If it helps you as a help, according to rcp support, you can edit the invoice.php template following this instructions: https://docs.restrictcontentpro.com/article/1738-template-files

to modify the invoice and add extra fields, i believe that you’d use –> get_user_meta()
But, i’m not sure.
This modification would be very important, because these data are required to invoice.

Hi,

I am using RCP VAT plugin.
It works well with these RCP shortcode : [register_form] or [register_form ids=”1,2″]
but doesn’t work witt a single one like: [register_form id=”1″]
In this case, every amount line display 0.
Do you have any idea of the problem?

Is it possible to include the VAT in the RCP product price? Right now the VAT is added on top of the current price.

Let’s say that I have a product that costs 100€.

– With the actual system:
Product Price: 100€
Price without VAT: 100€
VAT: 20% (20€)
Total including VAT: 120€

– What I’m trying to achieve is to deduct the vat from the product price.
Product Price: 100€
Price without VAT: 83.33€
VAT: 20% (16.67€)
Total including VAT: 100€

Is that possible? I checked the settings but I can only change the text with/without tax sufix.

I’m using Stripe, and I’ve installed the RCP VAT Plugin, but it’s not working.
I can configure the plugin, and it shows on the purchase page, but it gets stuck at the end of the purchasing process (no errors, but it gets stuck after filling the fields and clicking the purchase button.)

I’m using the sandbox mode.

Thank you for the update. It looks great. I see we can edit the vat per country on RCP…
Apparently when I order there is no vat on the final price. Is it normal? Do we have to wait this thing to be implemented or the problem comes from my side?

I try to use the plugin with Spripe and RCP but apparently it doen’t work. The vat is always on 20 even if I chose an other country outside of EU. To test it I use a free version of RCP. I want to test it before yo use it on the production website. RCP free version is 2.8.5. Any ideas?

Thank you for this plugin. I am from France and I am going to test it on my website using RCP and I come back to you if it works.
Do you think it will be possible soon to make it work using Paypal? Some people prefer to order using Paypal and some other using Stripe.
