A really simple to use plugin to add simple counter buttons. Loved it.
Wish there was a feature to add different button groups with different short codes to use in different scenarios.

There are much better alternative, just search reaction buttons and you can find great plugins that works really well. I don’t know why this plugin has this success.

Simple one-file plugin, fast and useful.
I make it compatible with “WP FastestCache” – add the line inside
// support for clearing the articles cache if w3total cache is installed

}and my Homepage’s cache will clean after each vote.

Tried out every similar plugin I could find and this one does the job best without any 3rd party services or unnecessary features. Thank you for your efforts!
I can potentially contribute some CSS style options if you are interested. Also perhaps a way to filter the reactions stats widget by post type.

It seems to work well so far. Just a note that I’m using the Wordfence Falcon Engine cache and they seem to be compatible together. Buttons update immediately when clicked. Too bad about not being able to use special characters, but no big deal ?? Am also excited to see that there are stats pages other than the widget, as there was no mention of this in the description.
*I’ve updated my rating from 4 to 5 because I love that Reaction Buttons allows you to disable the plugin’s CSS and use your own (which can help reduce queries and increase load time). This is an option all plugins should offer!!!

The widget was great from the very beginning, but by far the best aspect has been the developer support. He was quick and professional in answering questions, and added some great feature requests within 24 hours of asking whether they would even be possible. Now I have exactly what I needed to make my blog a reality!

I downloaded the plugin in 30 seconds and spent another 60 seconds updating the settings to my choosing. Works like a charm! I look forward to adjusting the css slightly to change the hover colors to match my blog, but the pure functionality works great!
I would love to have the ability to count the reactions at the top of each post easily (from within the settings or with a quick tut for the layman). I found feedback from the author on a forum that provided potential php code, but can’t figure out how to merge that with Disqus comment counting so that they are on the same line. The Disqus “reactions” don’t work on my blog (and many others that use the jetpack).
