I would like to not have anything visible to the front end/public. I created an issue page, added a no index, no follow rule set. I also made the page private in WordPress.
Are you planing on adding any additional functionality to disallow public visibility for this plugin? Looking at your support page, I seem to want the opposite of what many users are requesting. Could you make this an option in the back end so the end user has more control when this plugin creates pages and posts issues?
I understand you are hard at work developing a premium edition of this plugin, perhaps this could be an added feature.

]]>Hi WebDez,
i’ve installed the plugin. Even though i did changes to issues in the back end, i cannot view the issues in the front end. Does it has a short code where i can apply it to be visible in a particular page?

]]>I would like to take a moment to tell you I love the plugin. It looks great, it works just like you’d expect for a plugin for WP.
I do have a few request that would turn this plugin from “useful” to “invaluable” for my WP projects:
– Making it public to my clients would be great (Like many have requested)
– Email the assigned user when an issue is created/updated (again, others have asked for this as well)
– Make the assigned user and priority visible on the All Issues screen. It’s more important to me and my clients to know right off the bat which tasks they need to look at and in what order than it is to see the author or number of comments.
Thank you so much for the excellent plugin.

]]>Why doesn’t a project page shows an available link in the wordpress editor – but Issue pages do.
Perhaps I was anticipating something different than you possibly – But my assumption for the workflow was very basic
1) make a project
2) add issues
I was hoping to display a project as a linkable page in wordpress, and all the issues under the project would be then be itemized with status of the issue as selected. If one was to click on any issue – then any information entered into the issue would display.
For my usage I was hoping to have a public tracking of my projects and link them to the associated item page. (I collect pinball machines and want to keep track of what issues I find, and as I make progress on completing them. In my case this is non-proprietary information that I want publicly available.)
i.e.
List of Projects in widget
Project 1
Project 2
Project 3
Person clicks on Project – gets the project summary page, with a list of issues with the associated status of each issue. With perhaps an optional 2 line summary/desc
Issue 1 <status>
Issue 2 <status>
Click the Issue and get the full issue status and details.
Suggestions/ideas: It would be great to be able to change grouping/listing of issues – alphabetic, date, completion status even as default display ordering. Another fun usability idea would be the ability to have an indicator color for the different status levels, or a displayable icon so as to more rapidly visually identify each Issue’s status without actually having to read each line item

]]>Hello
I really like this plugin but want more features, thats why I cloned his work and have built further on it. I work on this plugin from time to time to power our own website as well. As an open source enthousiast, I made it open source.
You can get the code from our github page.
To install it, click on zip and it will be downloaded to your computer. Then on your admin, add the plugin by uploading it from your computer.
I’ll update the discription so it becomes clear how to use the plugin, but its really easy in the end

]]>I would like to know if you are still working on that features. My site is going to be in test phase in june and I am willing to let my alpha testers to send me bug reports and feature requests, via the site instead of my email. So that anyone that is testing can see the bug list.
It would be really apreciated if the features would become avalaible before that time.
Thanks!

When I try to display an issue, there’s an error message :
Page not found
“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it? It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.”
….
Just tested something before posting this topic, in fact the issues display when the permalink structure is set as Default Value. If the permalink is set on “Custom structure”, it doesn’t work.

]]>I installed the plugin, seemed to cover all the basic issue-tracking needs, but I was not able to figure out how to:
Basically I was able to create issues like posts, but I could not find the issue-specific workflow page(s).
I put the widget to the sidebar, I was able to list all my issues, but clicking on an item caused the infamous 404 error page.
