]]>Hello Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue on my WordPress site related to loading translations for certain plugins, and I am seeing the following notice on the site:
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the really-simple-ssl domain was triggered too early. It seems there is an issue with the timing of some plugin code execution (such as “really-simple-ssl” and “wordpress-seo”), causing translations to load too early, prior to the init
action, which leads to these warnings.
Steps I Have Taken to Resolve the Issue:

]]>Hello,
I am using the free version of Really Simple Security.
When I go to the plugin dashboard, on the top of the screen I can choose between “Dashboard” and “Settings”.
When I click on “Settings”, nothing happens.
On the dashboard page, in the task list, I have one open hardening feature. When I click on “View”, the Settings page opens up, but it is empty.
So my question is if the Settings page is only available on the Pro plugin? Or why can I not access it?
Thank you!

]]>Hello Support Team,
I am using the “Protect your login form with Limit Login Attempts” option through SolidSecurity. However, a warning still appears under “Site Health,” directing me to your Pro version. The same issue occurs with the security headers we have configured server-side (Plesk “Additional Headers”)—a warning is displayed even though the headers are correctly implemented.
Could you please check if these features can be recognized properly and marked as active to prevent unnecessary warnings?
I greatly appreciate your plugin, especially for the SSL redirection (301), the Mixed Content Fixer, and the backend mixed content correction tool.
Thank you for your support!

One final thing, I updated the collation in the database prior to this thing happening, I tested it a while back on a staging environment, with an older version of Really Simple Security, and it worked, so not sure if that is to blame at all…
Please advice what to do?
For now I will try to disable the plugin by renaming the folder using FTP, and hoping for a response from you ??
All the best

Hello,
I have been using Really Simple Security (free version) on my website for many years, I had initially activated it when I passed from http to https and was interested in the “Mixed content fixer” feature.
I have been having many problems due to 409 conflicts and I am trying to understand which plugin is causing it.
I would like to ask you:
1) If I deactivate your plugin, could my website break/have errors? Do I have to revert any changes I made with your plugin in order to avoid problems?
2) Just to know, (and I don’t know if this question makes sense) – does your plugin have an impact on the CRON? Because one problem I have very frequently on my error log is the following and I am trying to understand if a plugin could cause it:
Cron reschedule event error for hook: action_scheduler_run_queue, Error code: could_not_set, Error message: The cron event list could not be saved., Data: {“schedule”:”every_minute”,”args”:[“WP Cron”],”interval”:60}
Thank you
]]>Hi,
This plugin provides a useful functionality, but is it possible to reduce the nags a little bit? Seems to be there are always notifications around this plugin, like promoting the upgrade… For example, I’m not an advanced user and I do not need other features. Perhaps closing a promo popup once can possibly stop any future nags. Thank you.
The plugin emails the “email validation” okay, but neither pressing the button nor using the link provided in the email works. “Settings” in the plugin still displays a notification saying “Email not verified yet.” I’ve tried it several times. There is no notification in Dashboard, however, where it says “0” for “remaining tasks.”
]]>After updating, i went through some new options and turned on the option to rename the login page from wp-admin to something else.
Now i wanted to login again, and i was unable to do so, both wp-admin and the new login link turned 404. Through the Jetpack app i saw Really Simple SSL pro was disabled. After tuning it back on and trying to login, my site went down completely, and wordpress mailed me Pro gave a conflict. Through recovery mode i could login again, but i couldn’t go back to change the login link, as that’s a pro function, and pro was disabled. Turning recovery mode off, thus turning pro on back again, sent my site straight down again, and wordpress informed me again Really Simple SSL pro caused an error.
The mail contained this information:

Actief thema: Breek Child (versie )
Huidige plugin: Really Simple Security Pro (versie 9.0.2)

Dear Support,
I’m using your Plugin and i have this warning message:
“We detected suspected bots triggering large numbers of 404 errors on your site.”
How to clear this warning from your plugin ? Because i have two Firewall (Wordfence & SolidSecurity) and i just add Blocking Rule for IP that causes Error 404.
I’m waiting your suggestion & Support.
Best regards,
Thanks.
I maintain a dozen or so client sites. All are updated, core/themes/plugins, using wp-cli.
For a few months the site https://hardistyconstruction.com/ has been throwing an error instead of updating. Updating through the admin GUI works fine.
EDIT
Another site, https://reducethechaos.com/ has also been failing. Forgot this when posting. So two environments.
All other updates work fine on this site. The problem seems to be this plugin, this site, and wp-cli. Any other combination succeeds.
Any suggestions for a place to begin troubleshooting?

]]>I read that the plugin will focus more on security. I have installed Wordfence on many websites. How does this plugin compare to Wordfence? Will they conflict with each other? Is it a complement? Can both plugins be installed side by side? What’s your view on this?
]]>Just read the post about you moving to “security” over “ssl”.
The journey to here article was interesting but left me with questions.
You mention using network level hardening should be providing the waf. And that the current plugins have confusing features.
I agree, but I don’t see a route forward. It’s not something I want to mess around with, and create a security deficit on the sites I manage.
I do, however, like your plugins, and I like the way that you structure them and you have been responsive on github issues I’ve raised, so I’m interested in the plugin as the security solution.
At the moment I have two problems:
I just dont know what I dont know and security plugins only protect you in theory, and I’m against people that know my sites limitations much better than I do, and I’ll only maybe find out once its too late.
So at the moment there is a gap between having confidence of taking action with any kind of pro solution, and because of the invisible nature of the thread, I don’t know how to possibly move forward with any confidence.

I have 2 sites that use the same multi-domain wildcard cert (https://www.infomentor.se and https://www.infomentor.is), but while this plugin can auto-detect the .se (the root domain), it fails to detect the .is domain listed within the certificate.
