Because this plugin have last update 2 years ago, my malware plugin show it as abandoned and risky. Is there any change to any update or is more safe to delete it?
I know, there is no problem with it, but better safe then sorry.
Fab plug-in. Has greatly reduced spam ??
Still having an issue with the form on our Contact Us page. Keep getting bogus messages from this form, mostly in what appears to be Russian.
All site forms show “I’m not a robot” check box whether user is logged in or not.
There are a number of forms visible to non-logged in users but it appears to be only the Contact Us page form that is affected.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers,
Eugene.
Hi,
The plug in works fine on firefox but i am unable to post comment when in chrome.
]]>We use the plugin for our website and it works fine, but on our app when you login and add comment its marking all comments as spam. Is it possible to by-pass the recaptcha filter within our app since we do not need its functionality in the app since app is only for logged-in members who paid to use the app.
]]>Hi, the plugin doesn’t work in many browser like Edge, Internet Samsung mobile App, Chrome mobile App; in particular, I see that there is a misfunction on woocommerce review section. After we check the recaptcha control, we press the submit button but nothing appens. What can I verify?
]]>I installed this plugin today and had a problem where after checking the “I’m not a Robot” box, or validating the image question the “POST” button in my WordPress comments form would remain ‘disabled’.
Debugging showed that the json response returned error “invalid-json”. I did some research and came across this issue in the github repository for google’s reCaptcha: https://github.com/google/recaptcha/issues/359 . There they explained there was a change few months back in the response from Google. The same post points a workaround which is to use ‘CurlPost’ instead of ‘SocketPost’.
I’m not sure why I was blessed with this issue, but after a while trying to figure out where to make this change I realized it can be done by updating line 183 of file …/includes/recaptcha.php:
From:
$reCaptcha = new \ReCaptcha\ReCaptcha($secret);
To:
$reCaptcha = new \ReCaptcha\ReCaptcha($secret, new \ReCaptcha\RequestMethod\CurlPost());
This plugin appears to be working for me now and the Post button in my comments section is disabled after the verification is complete.
I hope this is of some use to you in case you find similar issue.
]]>Hello,
Plugin is installed
Recaptac keys are inserted
Recaptcha is not showing
What can I do please?
Thank you!

]]>The captcha is not showing on any blog posts.
I’ve installed this plug-in, signed up for the API keys, have inserted “Site Key” and “Secret Key” in Settings.
I’ve also tried:
– updated the “Comments Form ID” and “Submit Button ID” with the exact IDs from our site (ie Comments Form ID: respond and Submit Button ID: Submit)
– Forced javascript output,
both did not do anything.
Any assistance on what I’m doing wrong?
This site currently operating on a Divi Child Theme.
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
I have removed the plugin from my website, but the ReCaptcha box is still active in the comments. How can I remove it?
Hi!
My comment reCaptcha keeps loading.
Also on [ redundant link removed ] site I don`t even see the reCapcha (yes, in incognito mode).
Please help. This site is about to go live in 2 weeks.
The plugin works correctly on Firefox but on Chrome and Safari the comments form never submits.
I’m using version 9.1.2 of the plugin and WordPress 5.3.2.
Please help.
]]>Hi,
I activated this plugin on both my websites to help stop SPAM comments which does seem to work so far. However, on https://airbornekitesurfing.com.au any products with a variation does not show the price anymore. As soon as I deactivate the plugin the price displays as normal again. I do not have this problem using the same plugin on my other website https://www.kitebud.com.au
Can you please help ?
thanks
Christian
Installed, added keys and activated.
Nothing shows on comment form. I tried also incognito.
Even the plugin was activated it’s showing
“Plugin Inactive. You have to activate the plugin in Plugin Activation accordion section.”
Both google API are correctly introduced.
]]>Hi,
I set up everything correctly but can′t see the recpatcha in my comments form.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Paola
]]>You have really great and easy plugin. Is it possible to use it in posts ? (I’m using gutenberg btw.)
]]>You have really nice plugin and in general it’s looks very promising. My question related with description of your plugin. Where to see difference between set of the basic, middle and advanced options ? Thanks!
]]>I’ve added my keys, id’s, the preview shows i’m connected,
but when I test the captcha on the front I get a endlessly spinning loading animation.
Any ideas as to what could cause this?
I’m using captcha in gravity forms as well and
another plugin (super socialize) is having an effect on the
wordpress comments, but the html id’s and structure seems to remain in tact.
Again, I’m seeing the captcha show up where expected, it just won’t load.
No errors in the console indicate what might be wrong.
Can you add the feature of background custom color? I want to set the color by myself.
Best Regards.
Why I can’t remove users comments? It makes me really sad ?? Can you solve it?
Best Regards.
I have reCAPTCHA in WP Comments plugin loaded and working on my page, but it is working TOO well. Despite my other settings in WP to place comments in moderation until approved and once approved, that person can then post comments without moderation needed, everything is still going into the Spam folder. I’m running WP 5.2.2 with Lavender Lite theme. Under Settings>Discussion nothing is set in Comment Blacklist and the Comment Moderation is only set for if the comment contains 2 or more hyperlinks. None of my testing comments contain a hyperlink, so I know that isn’t the cause.
]]>I’ve done everything I can think of but I cannot get the plug-in to work. I have looked through the Accordion Section and admit I don’t totally understand the ID section so my settings are:
Both the form and the submit button have ID
Comments Form ID: Contact
Submit Button ID: Post Comment
The Capture appears on the sample form but not on my test page when I’m logged out.
I’m using Windows 10 WordPress 5.2.2 and Divi Theme with their contact form. I’ve toggled the Javascript Output Mode but it does not help.
Any help you can give will be appreciated as I would love to get this working.
Many Thanks
Brian.
]]>Hello
Plugin is working fine on Firefox and IE but on Chrome submit button won’t be active after validation.
The submit button has the id #submit, so problem must be somewhere else. disabled=”disabled” won’t disappear after validation and submit button remains disabled.
It seems to be same problem like in this topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/recaptcha-works-but-doesnt-enable-post-comments-button/ which is marked as resolved but no solution.
Any idea how to resolve this issue?
Best regards
Toomas
I am having an issue with this plugin.
The AJAX Call response is success, the result is OK, but the statusText is empty, so it does not enable the submit button.
Why could this happen?
]]>After installing the plugin and setting it up I see it doing a great job on desktop browsers. The captcha shows up and comments submit after clicking captcha box.
Testing on IPhone 10 and MotoZ 2 Android phones, the captcha shows up on comment form but after clicking it, the comment still will not send.
]]>Hi and thanks so much for this excellent plugin! I am just wondering if I should still use an anti-spam plugin like antispam-bee or Akismet in combination with this plugin? Or does yours handle everything well?
cheers!
Richie
The website is still allowing spam comments and links to come through.
Could you please guide me resolve it?
Thanks in advance:)
