Nice plugin, but you need to change the markup.
This is very incorrect markup when there is a heading (<h3>) inside the link (<a>).
use <span> inside <li> or some other tags.
Due to erroneous markup, I cannot use this plugin on many sites/

I had complained that several widget setting had no effect.
I had “display thumbnail” unchecked, yet thumbnails were displayed
I had “display date” unchecked, yet the dates were displayed
I’ve noticed the same problem with an similar widget I tried in place of this one. There could be an incompatibility with my theme or another plugin.
Changed from 1 to 4 stars since I can no longer assume the problem is with this plugin alone, and anything less than 4 stars would be unfair.

I’ve been using the plugin on every site I own for the last month now, and it is absolutely perfect.
Very fast to install, all the features I need are on it and the widget looks nice in all of my sites’ sidebars.
Another thing I like is, unlike the last plugin I was using which would not allow you to have different settings if you had multiple widgets on one page, this one allows you to easily have different settings for each widget AND the settings stick ??

Hi, this plugin is very good, it really helps the clients show a categorised list with an image at the top. It save them having to manually input links to the relevant posts.

I love this plugin. I just wish it was responsive. We have 4 going across and it just squeezes everything together on a phone. Looks terrible. Tried hiding 3rd and 4th instances with CSS. That didn’t make it any better. Wish it would stack. If it did that, I’d give it 10 stars. Everything else is amazing.

We have this plugin installed on several sites and it seems to be breaking our sites. We have had to uninstall the plugin on some of our sites because it causes an HTTP error 500.

Not much control over how the posts are displayed. You can mess with the CSS directly, that’s a nice feature, but the framework for it lacks.

Instead of creating the desired image size (600×450 for example) from the full-size featured image, this program seems to take the tiny thumbnail image and stretch it out to fill the area. The result is just horrible.
