Nice simple plugin. Works with WP 4.1.1. so far.
I don’t want the title to be displayed at all. The list of updated pages should begin at the spot where usually the title is.
So, question: can I loose the title alltogether?

I had a title with a quote (‘) and it gave errors in validation. Maybe use htmlspecialchars for displaying the title? Not sure what the WordPress rules are about storing and displaying that using htmlspecialchars.

I am using the plugin and find it useful. I would, however, use it in a complete way and not just inside a widget that will show on the cover, the last 5 pages updated.

Let me explain: I would like to use the code in a post in such a way that allows me to view the last 30, 50 post edited.

I’d like a tick box option that if ticked displays the current date (in the format you’ve specified) at the top of the list of updated pages/posts. So, this will allow a more immediate evaluation to be made in terms of how long ago a page or post beneath this was updated.

I’d also like an option to display the date first. As the page title is of variable length then with the date given after the title you have the dates in variable places making it more difficult to integrate the dates ‘data’. If the date is displayed first then you’d have a left aligned list of dates with the title on the right. This would make it much easier to glance at and faster to spot what you are interested in.

The widget works fine, except the page I have it on is not in English and I’d rather the widget didn’t show the updates like this: “XXXX on 03.02.2014”.
All I need is to remove the ON for it to work in my language.
Any ideas how I can remove it..?

Hi, I like this plug-in too, but I had de-activate it because it was listing/linking changes that were not pages that were leading to error pages. Is there a fix for that, or do we have to find another way to list recent changes?

The only output I get is one line of date and time when I paste this into any page. Maybe it returns the last change date of the page it is used in only?

How do I create a list of all recently updated pages within a page and without using a widget? Widgest are great for blogs but they suck on regular websites. I thought [rup_display_update_date] would be the shortcode that creates the full list, but it seems to output the last change date for the page it is placed into only.

I have just a suggestion, I’m using it for a french wordpress, and the dates are displayed in english, in order to avoid this problem, you should use date_i18n() instead of date() at lines 76 and 219 !

The widget works well for what it’s designed, but when it is activated, I can only edit widgets in the same widget area as this widget. Any other areas stop responding. I’ve been forced to remove it ?? Any input would be appreciated.

Im having a problem – I haven added new plugins recently and made some changes… which is why this problem is very odd.
I tried updateing a page on my webpage, I entered the new info and clicked on “Publish” nothing happened, the new info I entered disappeared and the page was not updated.
Can you help me?
