Hi,
How far away is an update so we can add images to the directions block, to create step by step pics or video?
Hello! I have had Recipe Card installed on my website at https://thecharmingdetroiter.com for quite some time now and am just today having an issue with it. I am receiving the error “Recipe Card could not save the recipe. Please contact [email protected] for help.” How can I remedy this situation? I have not changed anything with Recipe Card that I know of and so I am not sure where to start with figuring out this error. Thank you,
Sarah
]]>FYI to Thumbprint, Google is favoring AMP pages in search on phones, so I just set that up for my client. On day one I got this warning from Google:
The attribute ‘yumprintitem’ may not appear in tag ‘li’.
AMP URL:
https://vanillaqueen.com/double-chocolate-chip-ice-cream-sandwiches/amp/
I’m sure you put that there so that it prints correctly to yumprint.com, but here on our site, it’s hurting us and every other site that uses your plugin. Unless you change that, I will be asking my client to move from Yumprint to another plugin. I have to.
And if you fix this, you must do a clean sweep of all existing recipes, not just new ones.
I realize this will probably be a big pain for you, but can we expect a fix anytime soon?
]]>Hi, in my site the popup “Write a review” not found.
When you click this link, open the popup with an iframe, but the url not found:
The problem is on my site? Can I do something to fix it?
You can try this in: https://www.iberochef.com/blog/agua-fresca-de-sandia/

I believe this plugin is listed as “adandoned” because of the lack of updates. Any plans to make a new version of this plugin available?
Thanks,
Steve
The Recipe Card is not working and all of my recipes were lost. It appears I am not the only one. It may be down permanently but is there a way to retrieve the information that was stored?????
Please Help!
]]>WalmartLabs Just answered me about 2 hours ago that their service should be back again.
Can anyone check please?
By the way, I sent my message over facebook on FEB 26th…
]]>I get the following error when trying to save a recipe.

]]>We’ve used this for a couple of years and loved it until recently. Now you can’t save recipes. So far, Yumprint is not responding. I just want to know at this point if they are going to fix it or we need to toss it and find another.
Other people are reporting this under reviews.
Yumprint, what’s up?
]]>If you are moving to https:// (and you should be) you may find you get loads of insecure content warnings '(page) was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Quicksand|Open+Sans'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS
This is caused by some hard coding that would likely have been fixed if this plugin was being maintained. It was painful to find ??
Here is how you can fix this yourself.
You need to edit 3 files –
/wp-content/plugins/recipe-card/js/post.js
/wp-content/plugins/recipe-card/js/theme.js
/wp-content/plugins/recipe-card/yumprint-recipe.php
In each of them search for https://fonts.google and insert an s to make it https://fonts.google
The files are minimised so they are pretty difficult to read as they aren’t formatted well, but doing a search will find it.
This worked to solve the issue on a site with many recipes.
]]>hi,
could you tell me if there is the facility to link a video of the recipe in the plugin? if so, is this as well or instead of the image? the video will be either hosted on Vimeo or Youtube.
thanks, R
As the title says, in 2014 Walmart Labs bought YumPrint for use on the walmart website, but the wordpress plugin has since been abandoned. It’s unlikely that anyone still checks their support email, and obviously they haven’t replied to any messages here in months. I’d suggest looking for a new recipe card plugin, or try to talk to a web developer about fixing whatever problems may arise by using this one.

]]>Hi,

]]>Hi!
I have this plugin installed in one of my blogs, and I’m wondering if it’s anybody behind it anymore. Two years seems a long time with no updates.

Hello, i’m using the plugin recipe card.
Unfortunly the plugin stopped working because the servers of the owner company seems to have closed of something like that.
I’d like to keep using the plugin but this way i can’t add or edit recipes as it allways try to connect to the server… Anyone can help me modify this to send only to my own server and keep using the plugin? i have a lot of recipes on my site and it’s not a great idea to change plugin and insert all again…
Anyone can help?
]]>It seems every other recipe site out there has an image showing in the search results, but nothing on our site does and we’re using Yumprint plugin. I see the schema it generates. It just doesn’t work.
Here’s a query: https://www.google.com/search?q=oat+flour+cake&oq=oat+fl&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j0j69i57j0l3.2989j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8
Ours is the 4th for the Vanilla Company. No picture. Doesn’t look as tasteful. ??
So what’s the problem and how can this be fixed?

]]>Hi, would be great if you could add a check to determine the protocol the site is being viewed over and load Google fonts using this correctly determined protocol. Installed the plugin on my https site and it immediately threw an error because Google fonts were being loaded insecurely over http.

]]>Hi, Google webmaster tools is pointing out issues when I use the plugin.
The 1st issue is the one with the time durations. ‘min’ is not an acceptable value for the ISO8601 duration format, but I can work around that.
The more pressing issue is that the plugin seems to be treating the entire webpage in a ‘google-schema/blog’ which google does not seem to like.
Also, the featured image does not show up on the recipe card.
Anyone else seeing this? Would appreciate some help here. Thanks.
]]>I am using recipe card for a while now and I am very happy! However recently I changed my theme and now it seems like the code of the theme is overriding Recipe Card’s code. All recipes now appear with numbered ingredients and instructtions (although I choose no when I made the layout) and there is a dotted line under every line.
Is there a css code like
.yumprint-recipe {text-decoration: none!important;}
I could use on the blog to make it read Yumprint code first?
This is a link to a recipe on my blog: https://www.theodoraskitchendiaries.eu/2015/12/31/vasilopita-greek/
Thank you in advance.
Wishing all happy New Year!
Hello,
I’m using the recipe card plugin on my website and although I followed all the steps to get it translated it doesn’t seem to work. I used the Loco translate plugin. It created the Portuguese tranlated .mo and .po files and uploaded to the language folder within the recipe card plugin main folder. I also checked the translated .po file on Poedit and it seems fine. But the Recipe Cards headers are still in English.
Any ideas why it isn’t work?
The site I need help is https://www.blogmangalo.com.
thanks!
]]>Hey there, Im a little bit confused by one function in your (btw awesome) plugin. When i set cook and prep time in recipe card It always format it. For example cook time is set to be 10 minutes. When i set it 00:10 (as it should be) it changes it to “10m”. It would be fine but google structured data testing tool have a problem with that and always put error for every time snippets
“Cannot understand the value 10 min as a date/time. Learn more about date/time formats.”
Do you have some solution for that and is it only for me or everybody else? Thanks for an answer!
]]>Hi guys,
I’m using Visual Editor and after inserting the Recipe Card shortcode, I can’t edit the rest of the text box anymore.
I checked the Chrome Inspector Console but there’s no error there.
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I want to use your wonderful plugin for my site but it’s breaking formatting on the page. It also isn’t adopting any of the formatting in the card itself. Is it possible Ziplist (which I’ll be removing once I transfer everything over to your plugin) is breaking this? What would you suggest?
Thanks so much!
