The translation from englisch to german is not working. I have updated the plugin recently and not the translation of following words are not done

• Ingredients
• Instructions
• Notes

Before the update the translation to German was correct.

I lost the content in the text field, right after the instructions (Modo de fazer). In all recipes. Can anyone help me?

I was searching for a reason as to why the plugins creator stopped answering and came upon the news that he had passed away in January of this year. It’s sad that some of his work has been taken down and not passed on to another so that it could live on. It’s a loss for everyone as he was a really great guy and so helpful and supportive. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be greately missed. RIP Kemory Grubb (Sean).

I have a few issues while using your plugin. First of all I add a new recipe. I copy the id-no (because there isn’t any addingbutton at the classic editor) and insert it into a new blogpost with your shortcode. But it doesn’t work anymore. The recipe is publicated also the blogpost. But at the position where the recipe should be showing there is a vertically rose line.

I initially considered giving this plugin a 4-star review but thought this could be a better approach.

Currently my go-to free plugin, it impresses with its solid features. However, a few snags are worth noting:

Firstly, the lack of documentation is a drawback, though I appreciate the author’s commitment to fixing this soon. Hopefully, a comprehensive guide with all shortcodes included.

The persistent “cuisine missing” warning in the rich snippet is a minor annoyance, but not that much of a problem.

While the bulk ingredient and instruction feature is great, the absence of grouping options is a significant limitation. Many recipes require grouped instructions with headings, a functionality not currently supported in bulk inputs.

Popular SEO plugins like Yoast and Rank Math only recognize the introduction section of the recipe, neglecting ingredients, instructions, and notes. This limits the plugin’s compatibility with widely-used SEO tools.

The absence of a gallery option limits users to a single image for each recipe unless manually attached to individual steps.

Introducing a rating feature without requiring comments could boost user engagement.

Features like reading mode, timer, and meal plans (collections), usually found in premium plugins, would be awesome additions.

Despite these areas for improvement, I’m optimistic about the plugin’s future enhancements and potential to become an even better tool for users.

I installed this plugin and made some recipes but when I test them using Google’s rich result test there are no recipe markups! Am I doing something wrong or this plugin does not support automatic schema mark-up for recipes?

I also have another question: Is it possible to link recipes to default posts and not have custom post types for them?

I was sure they were displaying at one point, but now as I add recipes to the site and link to the original source, I get no link showing up on the finished page.

I have copied 35 recipes but the last dozen are not showing up on the index page. I have hundreds more to move, but don’t want to continue until I figure this out.

On another note, I have had a couple of challenges with the instructions box not displaying everything, but I believe I have sorted that out. Apparently a colon acts to hide everything preceding it.

The images in the instructions do not go under the item, even determined in the settings. The text is on top and side of the image.

I like Your plugin, but there are two disadvantages.

First is already discussed (1 year, 4 months ago). The offered recomendation ‘disabling the “Use ingredient unit list” option’ is not really a solution. To use the plugin without pop up list of units is very uncomfortable and using a long list of unit it is impossible to remember all. My workaround is 1. select all ingredients including their amounts; 2. save it and 3. put the corresponding units to the ingredients. But if it’s necessary to inject a ingredient into the list (not at the end) I must some times correct and save the recipe as already described by @martin08152401.

So I ask You to find a better solution.

The second one is really annoying as one don’t see the problem when writing a recipe. There are some domains with one or more umlaut in the URI for example https://www.eatbetter.de/rezepte/spitzkohlsuppe-würzig-lecker. If I copy this and paste it into “Recipe source” the umlaut “ü” is proper converted into “%C3%BC”. But after publishing the umlaut is lost. Obviously there occurs a code conversion. This doesn’t concern the link but only the text. The only workaround I found is using the html entities and write https://www.eatbetter.de/rezepte/spitzkohlsuppe-würzig-lecker

However, it has small bugs that I can’t resolve:
1. I created my taxonomies, I insert them in the recipes and when I update they disappear.
two . The same happens with some items of the Instruction.
3. Sometimes the photo field in the Instructions is not active.

I want to show the Recipe Type and Special Diets taxonomy that I have created on pages but these codes do not seem to be working? Only cuisine and course (the preset) are working. Basically none of the taxonomy I create will work

In the metadata tab, I am not able to add diet restrictions apart from what is already there (11 entries) and seems to be a predefined list. I need to add more but I am not able to and how to get this fixed.
