In my opinion, the LSB is the NASB perfected and would love to have that translation available in RefTagger. Please add the LSB?
Many thanks.
]]>Uh, any plans to update this plugin anytime soon? Things are still a little buggy, like settings not staying in place over time, other translations like LSB not available, and unknown compatibility with the current WordPress version…
]]>We have been using Reftagger for a long time on a website that uses Beaver Builder. Since the newest version (2.8) was released, my post grids only display if I deactivate Reftagger. I know there are two plugins involved in the conflict, but wondered if this is something you can help with. Thanks!
]]>Good morning, we’re using your software on two of our sites very recently but it looks to work great with little impact on accessing our websites, so kudos for that. I included tags on a pretty large number of posts and am wondering if this would work on tags? I tried the options and it didn’t work properly. It’s still a great tool but thought I’d ask about this piece of functionality.
]]>I noticed this problem a few weeks ago, reftagger is not loading the Bible verses in Spanish as it used to. I have been using it for years. I thought I needed to update the plugin, but I had the latest version installed. Then I checked other websites in Spanish using reftagger in Spanish and it is also not working for them. I am currently using WordPress ver. 6:3.2. Can you please check what is going on? It seems that the English version is working just fine, the Spanish version is the one having problems.
]]>Is anyone else having an issue with this plugin working with WordPress 6.3.1? According to the plugin, it’s compatible up to WordPress 5.8.7 and hasn’t been updated in over 9 months. Right now, the plugin doesn’t work on the handful of sites that I have it installed on. Does Logos have any plans on updating this plugin anytime soon?
]]>Any news concerning the problem of “passive listeners” ? Two years ago, @logos said that should be solved soon. But since today, I still have this problem.
]]>I have a single page post which includes references to movies referred to as Ep1, Ep2, etc. When these are hovered over, they come up with a popup from Ephesians, even though I am actually in that post referring to something else.
How can I disable this (otherwise wonderful) feature from just that one post?
Please and Thank You
[[p.s. even though I am not religious and rarely write about Wester sacred text, I like this software, and wish there was also an equivalent for the Mahabharata]]
]]>Is it possible to link to 2 diff bibles on the same page (e.g. English NASB95, Spanish NBLA)? Thx.
]]>How do I change the tooltip link color?
I am using RefTagger with the MyListings plugin / theme.
I have tried adding css but it is not working. I also tried installing the
WPCode – Insert Headers, Footers, and Code Snippets plugin and entering custom css there but it still doesn’t work.
Maybe my css is wrong. How can I control the color of the tooltips?
]]>Today, I’m developing a new webpage that might be publicly available tonight ([ redundant link deleted ]). In Microsoft Edge, when I hover over the Bible Reference to 1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NKJV) the text displays in the Tool Tip, but it contains four cross-references (w, x, y, z) to other passages. If you view these cross-references on https://biblia.com/bible/nkjv/1-thessalonians/2/13, the W, X, Y, and Z are super-scripted and in a different color font, so the passage is easy to read. However, in the pop-up tool tip on Microsoft Edge, these four cross-references are not super-scripted or a different font color. So, it looks like there are four misspelled words to the user: wwithout … xreceived …ynot …zworks.
Is there a way to turn off the cross-reference feature in the tools tips or make the cross-references display as super-scripts?

Thanks for your help! I love that Logos/Faithlife makes this ref tagger available for use across websites.
]]>The value of putting the Word of God in front of the eyes in a clear readable manor can hardly be overstated.
The ability to use the Word of God as a teaching tool visually is imperative.
Reftagger goes a long way toward this goal.
It would, however go a great deal further in fulfill the goal if there was the ability to create larger, more readable tips with larger fonts. With Faithlife’s help I can do this in basic HTML/CSS code.
I cannot in the Word Press plugin version. Could the plugin be enhanced to be the exceptional teaching assistant it could be?
With deep respect for all you do, please help.
]]>Hi! We are loving this plugin, thank you so much. We have some Bible notes where 1st, 2nd (Chronicles/Peter/Corinthians, etc) have the “st” or “nd” in superscript letters. When this happens reftagger does not recognize the Bible verse and I am having to edit them to appear as a normal “1st” or just “1”. If it’s at all possible to allow these characters to be recognized, that would be really great!
]]>Hello, it would be great if you added some other translations in German (and I’m sure other languages would also be appreciated by other users), like Luther 2017 (or Schlachter 2000).
Looking forward to your reply. Thank you!
Kind regards,
Silvia
I have RefTagger installed and for the most part, it works great. However, the color of the text isn’t the same across the site. On some links, it’s black and on others it’s white. Is there a way to control the color of the text on the pop-up windows in RefTagger? Here’s a video snippet of what I’m referencing.

It does not appear to be working on my iPhone X
]]>Anyone else having the issue that the plugin default gets reset on its own? We have the NASB-95 selected as the version of choice as well as a few other settings selected. However, and somewhat randomly, it appears this plugin defaults back to the original settings. Not sure if it’s after a WordPress update, or what. I don’t believe it happens during a plugin update as it’s been several months since there’s been an update released, and I just had to change my settings again.
]]>I appreciate the work you all have done. While there are a plethora of English and Spanish translations represented in this wonderful plug-in it is still necessary to have 1 or 2 translations for other languages like Portuguese.
I personally would be willing to help translate the bible references for Portuguese (I am living in Portugal and learning Portuguese) if you would include any one or all of the following translations: https://www.logos.com/product/32510/colecao-de-biblias-de-estudo
]]>The Tip comes up. I move the cursor to it. Sometimes it stays, which is great since I can highlight a portion of the reference to teach it. Other times, when I move the cursor onto the tip, it goes away. This seems quite random and means I cannot highlight to teach. (See 1 Corinthians 3:9 on attached page)
]]>Dear reftagger support,
Ik placed a question on the Faithlifeforum 2 weeks ago, but got no answer.
I’ll try it again here. My question:
Is it possible to add a Dutch Bible?
Rather not an old version like Statenvertaling.
Suggestions:
– NBG51 (still the most reliable due to its source, not contemporary in language but good to read)
– Herziene Statenvertaling (contemporary in language but its source is Textus Receptus for NT(not revised) and dogmatic in style)
– Het Boek (easy)
– Groot Nieuws Bijbel (contemporary and reliable)
Thanks and blessings`

Works better going from a verse to an adjacent one. When it fails it either pops the tip up, then closes it instantly, or does nothing.

What is the reason for this removal? Is there a security issue that we should be concerned with that would require it to remove it ASAP from our sites that already have it installed?

]]>Sometime earlier this week or late last week I noticed the Bible references are no longer showing as links. This includes pages where they previously worked.
]]>I’m a total newbie with WP.
My browser views the hover-over tooltips on other sites perfectly, but on my own site the links work fine, but the tooltip displays “This reference could not be loaded at this time”. I’ve tried Chrome, Edge, Safari (iOS). All the same; they work fine if I visit reftagger.com and try their sample.
I’m guessing it’s something about how I’ve set up WP.
Help please…
