hello,
i’ve wroted to you from a personal mail, regarding the feed service of sites.
Unfortunately, this plugin does not work ok regarding the RSS feeds from site. The url address of an image, included in a newsletter, is incomplete.
Thank you!
As the title says, the plugin doesn’t work for websites that are using https:// (SSL). We fixed it by changing “https://” in the code to “https://”. The plugins should be updated to work with both, however.
Thanks!
Hello!!
Your plugin is a great idea. I used it to a clean wordpress installation and works fine.
I am interested to extend it in order to bulk all urls, but I am not sure how to do it.
If you move a wordpress site to a new server, a quick tweak is to use replace mysql function in order to change the old-url-path to the new one!
But now my hosting is at wpengine and the path is something like gypengine.com and this redirects to the domain.com. So, all urls are stored into the database with gypengine.com url and this maps/redirects to the original domain.
If it could be possible to bulk all urls and do it relative I will gain huge perfomance at my site.
So, I moved WP to a new domain, everything looks and works well, but there must be some db bug: the media files transferred properly and show the new url in the media library, but the source code of the site shows the old file path (old domain).
Could this plugin solve the issue or should I look for the root cause?

Thanks!
So I normally have testing environments like:
mySite.com/testing/wordpress/2015/newSite
and the production lives at standard root like:
example.com/
The relative paths created are

and I don’t think that’s going to transfer well and be just as bad as the default absolute paths WordPress generates. Is there an option or anything that will use wp_uploads_dir or something like that?
Hi Scott,
Thanks for plugin,
right now I am working on WP website on my local host, but wants to use relative path, for iphone in same network and for others out of network.
I am able to open the site out of n/w, but cant open the images, in anything,
I downloaded the plugin, but don’t know how to use it.
Please help, thanks in advance.

Hi Scott!
The plugin is great!
But i see is only working with Full size…if a user use, Thumbnail or Medium, the absolute path reappears.
Can you help me?
Thanks!
Fernando
Plugin no longer appears to be working in 4.2.2. Can anyone confirm?
I’m guessing this is just for new posts only ? i.e it won’t update my existing posts ?
I have just tested your Relative Image URLs Plugin for WordPress. If I add a single picture it does modify the src link but it will leave the default added WordPress a href link untouched which is still absolute. Because that link is often unwanted it make sense if also your No Image Link plugin is used in combination but better would be to let the user both options.
I also noticed if I add a native WordPress picture gallery it will change no one of both links.
Kind Regards
Hello,
I installed this plugin, but it doesn’t work for me.
My wordpress resides in a subdirectory to the domain as it works as a development environment and will move to the root as soon as I’m finished.
Do I have to do something; eg. change something in the plugin’s replace string to get this to work for me?
Hi,
I am using HTTPS Force SSL Administration in my site.
When I add images, it will show https://domain.com/wp-contant/uploads/
I found that this plugin just remove the http request part in small image
when I insert a image, it will like this
<img class=”aligncenter size-medium wp-image-11604″ alt=”StartrekWallpaper” src=”//domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/StartrekWallpaper-640×383.jpg” width=”640″ height=”383″ />
Is there any setting to let it full relative URLs?

Realizing the plugin page states compatibility up to 2.9.2, just thought I would mention it’s not working in 3.1.
