Plugin still work in the newer versions of WP, despite its age. Removes double, triple, whatever spaces from the post content. Works for backend and frontend. No more huge white gaps , makes posts clean and tidy. Thank you.

Thank you for making this excellent plugin. I was tired of editing posts from users that don’t understand why 2 spaces is not necessary and just wrong.

Our site authors use double-spacing inconsistently. Unfortunately, WordPress in conjunction with TinyMCE seems to treat extra spaces (two, three, four?) as extra spaces, rather than collapsing them. So this solution is a fine interim one, until we figure out how to strip out extra spacing permanently and consistently.
