I just tested this plugin and it successfully excludes the selected category from the homepage, which is just what I wanted. But it seems that then the rest of the categories don’t work properly. So I had a category archive page (category ID 10, in case it helps), and this was showing the posts in this category and posts that were not in this category.

Hi, this is a great plugin and worked up to 3.7.

But, alas, someone who administers our site upgraded wp to 3.8 and now all the posts in all the categories are removed from showing up on the home page.

Any chance you have a fix for this?

Hi, I’ve installed your plugin and selected the checkbox to not show on home page yet the post still shows on my homepage. https://www.BarTaste.com category is “sidebar” I’ve even tried to use the code snippet on which the plugin is based without luck as well. I installed the snippet in both my functions.php and home.php after updating the category ID. Any suggestions?
