Hi!
I forked you plugin and uploaded it to github.
https://github.com/MarcDK/reportcomments
If you don’t want to merge the changes or are no longer interested in maintaining this plugin I will put it on wordpress with a “Better” prefix.
Please give me a note on how we proceed from here.
Cheers!
Marc
When I change the setting whether users need to be logged in to report comments, the whole WP installation breaks with error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /home/scase/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/reportcomments/reportcomments.php on line 49
I assume this may be the cause: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6127559/wordpress-plugin-call-to-undefined-function-wp-get-current-user
Hi!
Is there anyway to add another mail recipient by adding an adress in these lines somehow?
comment_author_email ?>”><?php echo $comment->comment_author_email ?>
comment_author_IP ?>&mode=detail”><?php echo $comment->comment_author_IP ?>

We use the blog at a newspaper site and the editor in charge would like to know which comments are being reported since he as a publisher has a legal responsibility for this.
Is it possible to show the user info for the comment reporter. Only logged in users can post comments anyway but showing who has submitted the comment report would be really useful.

Hi there,
superb plugin but there seems to be a bug when activating “Only logged in users may report comments” in the Discussion Dettings.
Not sure whether the conflict is when the setting “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” is also set.
I thought it would activate extra security activating the “Only logged in users may report comments” but it caused the web site to crash.
Have reloaded the plugin and amended the code so the checkbox does not display in the Discussion Settings to ensure it is not accidentally activated and crashes the website again.
Kind Regards
KatieKat
PS have also added my voice to another post and would be great if this could work with bbpress.
Hi How con i get this to work with bbpress? or will you be updating this to work with bbpress
Hey there.
I really want to use this plugin but I have a very customized look and feel and I want to place the flag link on another part of the comment which is not near the reply link.
Can you create a shortcode or function call that we can use to place this link in the comments instead of it automatically adding? (also will need the ability to shutoff the automatic link.
Thanks!
Hello
This is the message I get when I report comment: “?>The comment has been reported.
Can you please help me out here, why am I seeing the preceding ?> , how can i fix this?
Thanks

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in public_html/wp-content/plugins/reportcomments/reportcomments.php on line 260
Anyone know why? Can it be fixed?
Have you ever think to include buddypress topic replies or topic report function?
It will be great because actually there is not a plugin that does this stuff…
This very simply does something I’ve been wanting for a while.
A few feature requests:
1) An edit link in the reported comments view. I usually edit rather than trash inappropriate comments because deleting them messes up threading.
2) Option to limit the function to registered users (I can probably hack this with S2Member)
AND
3) Show me the user info for the reporter as well, so I can push back against people who report excessively.
Thanks again!
