Sorry to bother you,there is a problem that bothers me. I want to use this plugin to compress images on my website, but my server’s firewall blocked this operation. So I want to know the server IP address used by the compression process interface, then I can add to the whitelist.

Unfortunately I had a lot of problems with resmush.it. Even running it on a fairly new and clean website with few other plugins.
1. Resmush.it constantly had problems connecting to a server.
2. When I tried uploading an image I sometimes had to wait for minutes before smushed it. I don’t know whether it had anything to do with the server connection issue.
3. When I tried to recreate all images it broke the site after which I had to install the site from a backup. The fact that there is an admin notice saying to backup the whole site before doing that only means that this is a common issue.
All in all I had very bad experience with the plugin and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

This was once a great plugin, but sadly it seems to have been abandoned. Hopefully that will change, but for now, no updates for over half a year and the support forum is littered with unanswered topics.

the plugin is great, but the service itself is remote so you depend on the network, this causes many stability issues and in the past weeks i?s been horrible.

I’ve been using this plugin for years now. It does a really good job with converting pictures to a smaller size, the pictures are optimized without affecting the original ones and that is a big plus for me.

Buenas, lamento decirles que este plugin NO se los recomiendo para dise?os y temas que tengan la capacidad de crear un dise?o para la parte web y otra para la parte móvil, ya que comprometió la funcionalidad del responsive y el dise?o en general del tema. Al menos aligeró la memoria del disco del servidor. Pero que se use este complemento para páginas sencillas nada mas.

I used the plugins option to revert all images to their original – all files on ftp named _unsmushed were removed, but the plugin still thinks all images were already optimized and won’t allow me to optimize them again…
