I am trying to install the required plugins and Respond.js is one of them, however when I go to install it, it gives me an API error.
I decided to go the wordpress plugin directory to directly download and install it myself. However, when I search nothing comes up on WordPress. When I go to google, it pops up, but when I click the link it says page not found.
Has this plugin been discontinued? Is there a replacement?
]]>Hi there, I noticed that the readme file changed in the last few days to indicate compatibility with WP 4.3, and the repository now says the plugin was last updated on 2015/08/23. However, I’m using Plugins Last Updated Column, which is still showing the last updated date as 2015/01/02.
I suspect this might be because it wasn’t a “real” update, but I could be wrong… I’m really not sure, because the Plugins Last Updated Column usually picks up the correct date when all that changes is the readme file and there is no “official” update. That’s why I’m posting here first — this is the first time a readme file change hasn’t triggered a new date in the Plugins Last Updated Column.
Any idea how to get it to display the correct date? Thanks!

]]>Is Respond.js 1.4.2 not compatible with WordPress 4.0? I have it activated on a WordPress 4.0 site and the site is a blank white screen is IE8. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
]]>This plugin loads respond.js regardless of browser. If the user is not running an old IE browser, why would you want respond.js to load? This seems wasteful and the script should probably be called conditionally.
]]>Hi there,
I’m getting the following error in IE 8, and respond.js isn’t working:
“w.body” is null or not an object
I’ll work on troubleshooting this, but in the meantime do you have any clue as to why this might be happening?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Our site, mightyminnow.com, is running the following:
The issue is that respond.js doesn’t seem to be doing anything. My mobile first CSS isn’t being implemented, and things like the layout and nav are rendering without the necessary styles I’ve included in my media queries. I’ve had this issue on one other site as well, and for the life of me haven’t been able to figure out what’s going on. Even when I disable all plugins, the issue persists, so I have a feeling it’s a conflict between Dynamik/Genesis and my custom CSS.
So, I’m putting out the call for support – if anyone can track down this problem, I would be most appreciative.
Thanks a ton for your support!

Hi there,
Hoping you can help. I have the respond.js and modernizr plugins installed on my site (link below.)
When I open in IE8 and below, the media queries aren’t working.
I’m pretty new with wordpress and I’ve scoured the blogs and can’t find a solution that works (I’ve also tried loading the scripts myself).
I created my own theme based on starkers, that’s the one I’m using right now.

Please help – thank you!
]]>The new Twenty Twelve theme needs Respond.js to show the menu correctly in IE 8 and 7. I just added your plugin and it could be the perfect solution for “non-coders” using the theme.
The only issue is that in IE 7 the menu items are listed vertical rather than horizontal. That issue was addressed in a recent patch. Is there a way for your plugin to incorporate this for IE 7?
