In Version 4.2.0 (maybe also earlier) the function “Auto Expand All Sub Menus ” is not working any more.
Function is described as “All sub menus will be opened on page load automatically.”
Could you please review and fix?
My support-ticket was not answered yet.

Hi.
I have a very simple question. I don′t understand where I change the hover color of the X that is closing the menu? Now it′s set to the same color as the background, so it disappeared when I hover.
We purchased your Pro version on July 25, 2024 for $79 USD purchase. Payment # 1496907. We quickly discovered that your menu plugin will not work for our project so we requested a refund on your website. No response what so ever. You have a 14-day refund policy and we requested the refund multiple times, in multiple ways within that time frame. Please care of this. We find this highly unethical to entice people to try out your plugin by showing a 14-day refund and then just no respond when they ask for the refund. It is curious that you responded within 24 hrs when we posted here when we needed help with logging into our account on your website, but total silence regarding the refund. You can look up the payment and our account and contact us. Please do. It is not so much about the amount of money as it is about business ethics. We hate when those that sell plugins do this to users because it makes it harder to trust other ethical plugin developers. Please contact us.

I sent a couple of emails directly, categorised as ‘Pre-sales’ enquiries, and got no reply. This is unfortunately deterring me from making a purchase as I’m now not confident that if I have a technical support request that I won’t get a reply either.
The nature of my enquiry was to do with menu colouring to show the user ‘you are here’ and ‘this is how you got here’. i.e. creating what amounts to a breadcrumb trail within the menu. My existing website, now 15 years old, was able to do this with with a ProjectSeven DW plugin, so its not new functionality by any means. I have read the release notes and it appears that the Pro version can do this and certainly the free version now has classes such as ‘current-menu-parent’ and ‘current-menu-ancestor’ correctly assigned to menu entries up the tree.
What I wanted to know, does the Pro version allow for customisation by way of background: and color: attributes for menu entries with these ‘parent’ and ‘ancestor’ classes applied. Are there any examples of a menu using this?
I see this has been reported previously, but per the forum guidelines I’m starting a new topic.
I only discovered this issue today, while reviewing a PHP error log on a site. I am using your plugin on dozens of sites. Depending upon each site’s traffic, this issue has caused anywhere from thousands to MILLIONS of error log entries.
The issue might not be causing any problems for the front-end user, but it is causing a problem with these error logs growing to extremely large sizes.
Is there an ETA for when the new version will be available? Thank you.
Hello,
when I’m accessing my site as admin, I’ve noticed this php error but I’m not sure what it is. Apparently it’s linked to the Responsive Menu plugin. (screenshot)

if I deactivate the plugin, the error disappears
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance.
Is it possible to display the additional content field below rather than above the menu?
I want to display social media icons below the menu items
Thanks
I can not create a new menu… don’t know why.
I want to re create a new menu for mobile because the old own (wasn’t create by me) doesn’t work properly anymore after I changed the desktop menu
I am developing a site and the owner is convinced he wants it to be cool and have the mobile menu (hamburger) instead of a standard menu. I was able to accomplish that but he would also like a button (or link) at the bottom of the hero section that says “menu” and when someone clicks on it it opens the nav menu.
Searching for hours and one of the responses pointed to your plugin. But I don’t see it listed for either the free or pro versions.
Is this something I can do with your plugin? thanks
I have the free version and only use for mobile menu. I am trying to add the search feature to mobile menu but when i toggle on, the search pulls up everything as by post instead of pulling the search for items that match the description. How do i fix this? is there a code i have to enter (even if i have to get paid version)
Please let me know thank you
Hello
I already use the free plugin for the mobile menu and I’m very happy with it. However, I don’t see how to set the desktop menu. Maybe I should get the paid version?
Thank you
HI,
two menus are shown. The one I had created before I had the Responsive menu plugin and the new one I created with the responsive menu plugin. You can see it on my website https://www.kichertante.de
I do not know how I can switch off the old one.
Looking forwards to your answers. Thanks in advance!

I have the following configuration:
– “Adjust for WP Admin Bar” to On
– Hide on desktops to Off
– Breakpoint: 1200px
The wp admin bar does not appear at the top of the page, it appears when I click the hamburger, within the responsive menu.
Hi, I’ve been gradually phasing out jQuery from my site builds. It struck me that I only rely on the jQuery library for toggling the menu. I’d suggest handling this functionality with vanilla JS on the frontend.
Now I’m using this quick ‘n dirty solution;
document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function() {
var trigger = document.getElementById('rmp_menu_trigger-54');
var container = document.getElementById('rmp-container-54');
trigger.addEventListener('click', function() {
trigger.classList.toggle('is-active');
container.classList.toggle('rmp-menu-open');
});
});
function custom_theme_functions() {
wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' );
}
add_action( 'init', 'custom_theme_functions' );

I’m having some issues with the logo/image I put into the rmp menu (the title image component).
The image itself contains an alt text that I would like to be inserted properly (for SEO and accessability puprposes). However If I look at the actual page it looks like the following (see below code). With nothing in either alt or title text. Is there any easy way to remediate this?
Thanks!

I’m using your Navigation plugin, and I’d like to create a mega menu with widgets. Could you provide instructions on setting this up?

Hi,
As per your coding update on the class-option-manager.php (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/warning-undefined-array-key-0/#post-17713067), I have updated but still the category page not working, I am getting 500 internal server error. If I deactivate the responsive menu pro plugin, the category page working fine.
Error log: Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 0 in /home/customer/www/ourdomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/responsive-menu-pro/v4.0.0/inc/classes/class-option-manager.php on line 60
Thanks
Hi
After I configured a responsive menu for mobile display, all was great until I noticed when clicking on to a link to an image, the image pops up as it should using LightBox feature via Elementor however for some reason, the Responsive Menu plugin has changed this to open the image in a new tab. The issue does not replicate on a desktop. Any ideas to why this may have caused this?

Shortcode not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked for help over a week ago via this forum and pro support with no useful response! AND you marked it as resolved!
Why is no one trying to help me and why did I pay $100 for this plugin?

The current plugin (4.3.4) has syntax that has been depreciated in PHP 8.2. Since PHP 8.1 has only 7 more months of support, we’ll need to get this fixed:
plugins/responsive-menu/v4.0.0/libs/scssphp/vendor/scssphp/scssphp/src/Compiler.php
Lines 3547, 3549, and 3551.
It appears it’s still using version 1.10.2 of scssphp. Hopefully simply updating to the latest version of this package should resolve the issue

Hi @sumitsanadhya,
I just updated Responsive Menu to v4.3.4 which introduces the minified “rmp-menu.min.js” file (which is nice to have, BTW).
However, I downloaded this file to my local drive, and Microsoft Defender immediately flagged it as a trojan script:
Can you please immediately investigate and find out why it’s getting flagged as a virus?
It might be a false-positive, but even so, whatever is causing this needs to be fixed so that the file doesn’t get flagged as a virus on other systems.
FYI, the “Learn more” link shown in the screenshot takes you here:

Thanks!
After updating my WordPress site to the latest version, I noticed that some menu items have disappeared from the navigation menu. These items were previously present and properly configured. I’ve tried re-adding them, but they still don’t show up on the front end. How can I recover these missing menu items?
The option to turn the Shortcode on can be found in the?Advanced
?tab, under the?Technical
?section, called?Use Shortcode?
The above instructions are not accurate and do not help me as a PAID pro user.
Hello, I placed [responsive_menu_pro] in a shortcode widget in my WP Astra theme header section (tablet and mobile screen sizes) but no toggle is present and there is no trigger function at all. I also placed the shortcode in an html module within content section (beaver builder) and I can not see the menu toggle there either.
I did finally find the General Settings>Display Condition>Use as shortcode which is not well documented.
I would appreciate it if the rmp-menu.js file were minified. I have done this myself using tools such as https://www.toptal.com/developers/javascript-minifier or https://minify-js.com/. However, it would be great if this were set as default for better page loading times. Thank you
