Easyest way to add responsive feature to you tube video in your WP video

I was skeptical, but I must admit it, this plugin works great.

Works perfectly as described. Thanks a bunch.

I didn’t go deep into it’s options, because I don’t use many videos. But for those few vids on my site it did all I wanted it to.

Just download it and suddenly all your videos which were previously messing up the site are working perfectly and fitting neatly at all screen sizes! What could be easier than that?
If other commenters are finding the plugin doesn’t work it is most likely theme compatibility or other manual/plugin overrides they’ve made.
Thanks

Right out of the box, no configuration needed. Thanks!

Installed and there are no settings available under Settings->Media. Looking for another plugin to handle responsive videos.

Works as described quick and easy especially when uploading and installing from zip. Tested on full browser phone and 10.1″ tablet, both orientations – works well.

This plugin not working when activate jetpack plugin

This plugin is great! One note on the installation instructions – the step about enabling auto embed isn’t in WordPress 3.6.x — you don’t have to do it.
Also, don’t put the actual iframe code in your post. Do what the installation instructions say in point 4 – WP automatically turns links into embedded videos.
*Also, to avoid videos from “filling” the page while they are pulled from the respective provider, just add a CSS class to the container using “overflow:hidden” along with max-width and height parameters.
Thanks for the plugin!

So simple, so awesome.

This is a great plugin. It requires no setup after installation, works with a good selection of video sites, and fills the player screen with video very nicely at any screen size.
The only thing it could do better is detect the size of the video container and fill the container at large screen sizes.
As the previous poster mentioned, FitVids for WordPress does this, but the setup is more complicated and the author still has done nothing to make it easier (for 90% of installs, using “body” as the jQuery Selector is all that is needed). What is impressive about this plugin is that, once setup, it works for virtually all videos that you can embed on a page.
If you only use YouTube or Vimeo, then the Fluid Video Embeds plugin is your best choice. It requires no setup after installation, and does a superior job of filling the player with video at all screen sizes (as well as filling the video container).
Unlike the previous poster’s comment, my experience is that Responsive Video Embeds still works fine.
Thank you, Kevin, for developing this fine plugin.

This plugin does not work for me.
The instructions regarding auto-embed are out of date.
The author does not appear to be supporting this plugin.
I’ve found a working alternative: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/fitvids-for-wordpress/

It just works…
Only problem is that it doesn’t allow me to prevent the conversion of some URLs.

This plugin only worked for me if I disabled the shortcode embeds module on Automattic’s Jetpack plugin. Otherwise it doesn’t do anything.
I mentioned it in the discussion forum but didn’t get a reply. Judging by the various unsolved threads there, I don’t think the author is maintaining this plugin anymore. Better to find an alternative which comes with some level of support or engagement.

Using Genesis framework and child theme, but it cuts off the videos on the right.
