Since few days (weeks) the search field of the link window disappeared when using it on a mobile device (iOS). I’m using the Classic editor. On my desktop computer the search field is still available.
WP: v4.5.3 (latest)
Plugin: 1.3 (latest)
OS X: 10.10.5 (1 version behind)
iOS: 9.3.2 (latest)
The layout of the ‘Title’ text and the title input box are not quite aligned with the existing URL and Link Text titles and input boxes, being 1px or 2px to the left.

Because the information box (“No search term specified. Showing recent items”) is shown above the list of existing content / search results, enabling this plugin pushes the Search box for existing content behind the information box, effectively hiding it.

I was just wondering if it would be possible to enhance this plugin with functionality to remove the “Inline Link Editor” that has been introduced in WP 4.5, and always open the standard modal pop-up instead.
(I’m always adjusting the parameters of links that I insert, and this feature causes more work for me and is counterproductive)
Thanks for your consideration.
Alexander.

Heyya,
found this plugin – thanks a lot!
Would be great if it worked with this plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/auto-insert-title-to-link/
It is probably outdated beyond repair, but the idea is just great (insert the linked page’s title automatically as default).

Thank you very much for writing this module.
Regardless of whether link titles are considered to be used for SEO or are perhaps misleading to accessibility, personally I think they are very valuable and I would like to keep using them for as long as possible to help explain what a links purpose will be in my projects. And I can, with the help of this module.
However, I have a request.
I notice in the latest version that the Menu Link Title Attribute has also been removed. I have temporarily replaced the nav-menu.php file for the time being so that I can keep using the link title, but would it be possible to either incorporate the replacement of the link title into your plugin or create a new plugin to reinstate the link title attribute?
I wouldn’t know where to start writing a module, but it relates very closely with what you’ve done and what has proved to be of great value.
Thank you.
Rob

Hey guys.
I noticed that since the latest update of wordpress, the title field seems back.
I found, first, that when adding titles, I had TWO title lines.
So, I turned off the present plugin.
Now, I only have one title line.
It’s working again O_o
… or is it just me ?!?
If someone has information about this case, and/or a Trac discussion, I’d be very interested in hearing about it…

And now when I try to add a link, it is not working.

Hello!
Not a plea for support, more like a friendly bug report.
I tried to squeeze everything into the title of this post, so now I can elaborate. I welcomed with open arms the return, in current latest wordpress, and its previous iteration, of the correct autocompletion of the title.
For a while, when we were creating an hyperlink, and we typed a few letters in the title line’s field, wordpress would autosuggest – as it always did – previously used titles.
However, we had to click on these titles with our mouse to select them.
Using the down arrow with the keyboard’s keys would not allow to select any of the previously selected title lines.
Then, it was possible again for a short while, yay!
… until the recent events, with Otto saving the day with the present plugin.
However, that’s the regression here, once again, hitting the down arrow on the keyboard won’t allow to select previous titles. If we hit down, and Enter or Space, it simply considers as submitted what is currently already typed.
Sorry for the wall of text, good day everyone !

Hello,
after activating your plugin, the nofollow option from the german wpseo plugin (https://wpseo.de/) is not working anymore.
The plugin adds a checkbox, with the option to add the nofollow attribute to the link (see https://helpdesk.wpseo.de/manual/nofollow-option/).
The checkbox is still here after activating your plugin, but its not inserting the attribute anymore.
Can you fix that?
thanks

When using the 1.2 update, the plugin inserts two identical links.
For example:
URL: https://google.com
Title: title
Link text: link
Generates this HTML:
linklink
