Can you please create folders for us to organize lots of reusable blocks? A pro version perhaps, would pay.
]]>Hi, I use the shortcode to show filtered contents. Usually I sue the {get:parameter_name} in filter conditions but now I need to pass the filter value by shortcode. Is it possibile? Do you think it could be possible to ha something similar: {shortcode_param:parameter_name}?
Thank you,

I had used reusable blocks extended to put my styled table of contents in about 400 posts. I’ve removed about 200 of them manually, all of them that were custom post types are still listed as “used in” despite me confirming their removal multiple times manually.
How does one get support here? It seems the developer completely ignores all questions.
]]>When I click Blocks in the dashboard it takes 20 – 40 seconds to list the block patterns I have on my site. My site isn’t running slowly and this is literally the only plugin this happens to – blocks are all working…
]]>Never had any issues w/ site displaying sidebars before trying this plugin. After trying the plugin and using reusable blocks in the gutenberg editor for side-bar, the side bar randomly just stops displaying at some point. If we go back into wp admin > widgets > and re-save the side-bar the site looks ok again… until the side bar randomly disappears again.
Any ideas?
Here’s a support thread for reference (Blocky theme)
FYI for some reason WordPress has not enabled ability to add native reusable blocks/patterns to the sidebar yet. Mabye this has something to do with it? WP core code incompatibility?
]]>Hi. Great plugin. Much needed. Heaven knows why WP core dev team has not yet integrated reuse blocks/patterns into gutenberg block editor for the sidebar widget. Anywho, using this plugin specifically for that purpose.
Seems like there is a conflict with the ad inserter plugin when adding reusable block to sidebar widget. The content we use ad insert plugin to dynamically add to end of pages also appears at the end of the sidebar widget where reusable blocks are displayed.
Is that because the reusable blocks/patterns are being treated as pages or posts rather than a custom post type by wordpress?
Just a heads up since ad inserter is a very popular plugin.

Thanks
]]>We can insert the pattern into sidebar widget which is good. Don’t see any way to edit the pattern/block after it’s been inserted into the sidebar, wp > admin > appearance > widgets > select the block > it just shows in a black and white box showing the selected pattern… would be cool if we could edit/update the pattern/block and sync it with the corresponding ID reusable block.
What’s the difference between pattern and “converting to block”? They both seem to have the same behavior with regards to how they are treated in the sidebar widget.
Thanks

]]>Hi,
We use your plugin a lot and love its simplicity and functionality. It seems that you do not answer any of the support questions and I am worried that because the plugin hasn’t been updated for a long time that you have lost interest in maintaining it. Please let us know if this is the case so that we can make a decision whether to use it going forward or not?
I must say that it’s a great plugin that could be extended to help gutenberg be even better.
Thanks.
We encounter that when we move blocks from one env to another (example development to production ) we are having different id to the block ( which is obvious ),
a fix that will allow for blocks to have slug and the shortcode and the reblex_get_block() function to work with both post id or post slug will be very great,
otherwise we have to keep a ‘translation table’ or options and manually edit it everytime we create a new block and have to move it from one env to another.
hopefully you consider this fix
]]>Good morning,
how to see in a user account with the editor role in the “composition” tab my compositions of my theme? I only see the default ones?
THANKS
]]>Hey guys. I’ve just noticed that whenever I am making a new block and want to add a link, the dropdown which contains the rels doesn’t appear anymore.
For example, here’s what it looks like in the normal editor: https://prnt.sc/RlDclil0TDnS
And here is what it looks like when I’m using the reusable block editor: https://prnt.sc/iKGEfySa75p-
Anyone else notice this? Is there a solution to this issue? Really need to have the ability to add rels to links when making reusables.
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
When I try to use the shortcode generated in Ad Inserter it doesn’t display the block.
Any clues?
Many thanks,

When the form is saved the Preview does not work. It simply shows the edit screen sized to show fields, not the form itself.

]]>Hello, I love the plugin.
One question: Which capability do I need to revoke to restrict access to the “Blocks” admin panel? (Hopefully not something broad like edit_posts
.)
Edit: You’re obviously dependent here upon whatever capabilities are set by WP core. Any tips on how to prevent content editors from accessing this functionality? IMO, WP Core should have more properly assigned reusable block editing capability to the edit_themes
Cape, as that is the domain of theme editors, not content creators.
Thank you sir for the fine plugin!
]]>Hey,
I really love your Plugin and don’t know why it is not part of the standard feature set of WordPress.
The only thing thats missing for me is the ability to add parameters to the Blocks which can be queried within them.
Let’s say you have a specially designed Call-To-Action Button that is implemented everywhere on your site, but calls a different URL each time you click it.
Could look something like [reblex id=’123′ url=’example.com’] and inside the Block you could query it somehow, like {{url}} for example.
I don’t have much experience with php, only other languages, but if you point me to the right direction in the code, I could be able to implement it myself.
]]>This may be an obvious question, but if I wanted to remove a block that is added to several hundred posts, can I just delete the block? Or is there a way to pull the reference out of the posts programmatically?
I tried setting one to “Private” which accomplished this, but sort of broke the block as there was no UI to change it back to Public/Publish again, and it simply vanished from the Blocks admin list, so I had to change the post_status back to ‘publish’ via the database.
I guess a future enhancement may be to add an active/inactive toggle to these, to keep them around, but shut them off.

]]>Hi All!
I’m running into an issue with the Plugin WP Recipe Maker and how it insert’s it’s snippet buttons into a post.
It uses is_main_query function to do so and there should only be one per page.
When I use the widget to add reusable blocks to a widget area, in this case the footer, it’s accidentally getting WPRM’s snippet added twice.
I have them hidden right now but here’s an example: https://capture.dropbox.com/PTEkSV2unVyyNX3y

]]>When hovering over the shortcode of a reusable block, I can’t select the shortcode because clicking and dragging actually moves the block.
My memory is like a sieve so if you could change it somehow so that one can highlight and copy the code or maybe add a button to copy the code to the clipboard?
Thanks.
(Note, I just figured out that the drag only happens when you are displaying ‘all’ reusable blocks. If you choose ‘Published’, I can highlight and copy the code.

I am using reusable blocks to insert my newsletter in the footer however some of the plugins I am using to add snippets and social icons consider the reusable block as a “post” per se and add a snippet and social icons on top and bottom of the reusable block…
I found out that there were some “disable header/footer” options in the reusable blocks plugin, however when I toggle them on and hit save, they toggle back off.
Is there any issue with the plugin?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Very long database queries
The idea of the plugin is great, but there is a problem.
Very long database queries. If I go to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block in the admin, it becomes impossible to load the blocks themselves. Often just get 500 error because of it.
The queries to the database are like this:
SELECT * FROM wp_posts WHERE post_content LIKE '%<!-- wp:block {"ref":17981}%' and post_type NOT IN ('revision', 'attachment', 'nav_menu_item');
There are a lot of queries like this. In SQL, it’s an extremely long and complicated LIKE search procedure. And I have 624 thousand rows in my table and when I go to admin page /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block plugin starts sending such long queries for each block going through database rows.
Apparently I’m not the only one with this problem, I’m sure people in this thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/503-service-unavailable-47/ have the same problem.

It seems to be only working if you add the reusable block to a post or page.
