I have installed the latest version of this plugin. However, when I click on the sharing buttons they do not open in a popup window. I do see that there are many forum posts on this issue and that it has supposedly been fixed in the latest version. But not working for me. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

The pinterest button opens a pinterest profile. I’d like to get pinterest button works as a “pin it” button, the same way as it works on https://kurtnoble.com/labs/rrssb/ for example.

I tried to change that in rrssb.php but couldn’t retrieve an image (preferably it should be a post featured image).

Do somebody have any idea how to get this?

hi is it possible to customize the number of thumbnail options the users can choose from when they’re sharing my post? I noticed that facebook only allows up to 3 thumbnails, even though og:image can detect more. Is this on Facebook’s side already or is it functionality of the plugin. When i try to share a post from my wordpress site on facebook, the featured image doesn’t show on the facebook post. Is it the default setting or did I do something wrong?

Wherever the plug in is activated, it repeats the sharing icons in the footer of the theme. How do you remove them from the footer?

– Shares need to open in a small popup window, not in the main frame
– When clicking linked in, linkedin loads then says “something went wrong here!”
– Buttons don’t stay in a line, there is a line break (screenshot here: )
– Control panel is terrible. Need to be able to select button placement, insert via shortcode, and choose which buttons have text and which don’t (and all or none)

Buttons look very nice and the plugin is simple and easy to use. Iron out all of the issues, and I’d gladly pay for it on CodeCanyon.

I’m having a couple issues:

1. The shortcode to display at the top of the post isn’t working when I add it to my theme’s php file. Do you have this available as a few simple lines of code?

2. I’ve got the newest plugin installed, but clicking on the buttons does not open them in a new window or as a popup overlay (preferred). I’ve had to keep jquery off because it conflicts with my gallery plugin.

This plugin is loading jQuery 1.9.1 automatically. That will cause lots of things to break if the users theme or another plugin also does that. It’s not a good practice, unless you have an admin options page that allows users to enable/disable as needed.

For those having conflicts with other plugins, just comment out lines 24 and 25 and you should be fine.

First of all I would like to say this is a great plugin adding great functionality. Admin panel would definitely help though ??

I am having a strange issue with the buttons on my site. They don’t show up correctly (please see the first screenshot). First, I thought it was an issue with my theme and that they wouldn’t work permanently. Then I noticed that whenever I resized my window even a little bit, the buttons would display as they should be (please check out the second screenshot now).

Where in the rrssb.css files, would I put a background color?
I did it like this but not showing up prop when I view it on a Blackberry mobile phone device but fine on Google chrome. Not sure I’m doing correctly.

The plugin is good! but I have question, the button is responsive, but not fully responsive. Like when it is on the smallest screen, the button still appear Icon + text, not the icon only (so that the G+ button been cut most of it).

And one more, why is the twitter sharing permalink is not the same format as whole site? I set permalink to use custom url, but when being tweet it use post ID as permalink.

Because it will be a problem for my twitter share count.

looks like a fantastic plugin that would go well with my Twenty twelve Theme Version (3.8.2)
so Installed/Activated it and is not showing up anything on my main Content page which is my (Home page) and pages . nothing in my Menus no Admin Menu nothing.

But Noticed the share Icons IS Showing on my Single pages, but is no use to me as I am using My Content page as my main page (home page) which would link to a Page, instead of the Single Page, if you catch my drift..

usually this fixes the problem just to insert the php code into my pages.

Great job, I’ll be sure to donate but I have a few questions first.

Considering I’m no Developer or Designer, I had someone do some custom work on my share buttons for my site using CSS.

So because of that I’m a bit hesitant to download and install your awesome idea into my site as it may ..I guess conflict or break any work already on my site.

So my question is..can the colors and icons be changed for the share buttons? I went through your description and looked at your screenshots and I couldn’t find an answer ??
