Greetings!
I have utilized this product on a few websites.
Going through the process to find one, and not having much time, I loaded tried out, and deleted several versions of similar products.
I understand that different people prefer different setups or features, but for me, this was the easiest to use, pretty much activate it and it loads. Tweak it a bit and then done. And if you really want to go to town, just $23 and it does what the other ones do too.
Worth the price of a ticket to me!…

If you want to use this plugin as a free version, don’t download it. The most options are paid only. Free options are ridiculous compared to other plugins.

Does what it says – creates a maintenance page, but everything is pretty much locked down unless you upgrade to the premium version, which the plugin authors annoyingly let you know everywhere. Makes you think that they’re just trying to make a buck. Can’t even change the font color.
There are better plugins that do exactly this that are much more configurable. I’d keep looking.

I have used this plugin for years and finally ran into a build where I needed a gravity form on the maintenance page. I purchased the premium version but the shortcode didn’t work and the form wasn’t showing up. I emailed the developer and within 30 minutes, he had responded and showed me how to fix my issue.

I wanted my site to be up but in maintenance mode and still allow people to subscribe while I developed it. At first I was lost. New to word press I had trouble downloading the plug in by myself (I know, pathetic). These guys responded at light speed, downloaded the plug in for me and then helped me make the page exactly the way I wanted. I have never experienced such good customer service… OUTSTANDING. Highly recommend this plugin.

I am developing a new site and wanted to have a nice big background image and to have a custom welcome greeting across the top of the image. Maintenance Mode came to the rescue! I also had a little trouble at first and their tech support came to the rescue immediately! I highly recommend this plugin to anyone who wants a nice looking splash site while their main website is under construction.
There is even a way to add a facebook icon that will go to a facebook page in the meantime or text with a link.

I”m just trying to figure out how to build this site – frustrated WP newbie. Wanted to keep it private until I’m ready to put it out there.
Thank you for this plugin. So simple, just fill in a few fields and turn it on. Finally, something in wordpress that doesn’t take forever just to figure out how to do. If only building the rest of the site was that intuitive.
