I discover that the translation from before_desc=”<img src=

‘%picture_url%’ width=’100px’/>” to html <img src= When adjust the code in <img src ..
Then the picture is correct displayed.

Please help me with this problem

I spent the all morning using this plugin which allow me to use html and css.
Finally it comes to set the img and it wont never work.

I did exactly like in the description and the error is like “Cannot resolve file ‘%picture_url%'”.

Is anyone succeed to display images with this plugin ?

We had all types of issues with this plugin. Looks like the plugin has been revived and updated here with the addition of archive sorting: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/rss-feed-pro/

After updating WordPress to the current release 5.5, the frontend pages show up PHP errors in the simplepie.php when using the RSSImport shortcode in the_content().

I installed RSS Import today to place one feed on my website. I used the widget and for starters all I added was fee title and feed URL. Saved it, looked at it and all was good.

So I logged out of my site, looked at it again and my feed was gone, replaced by your feed about Thuringia. I have no clue at all on how to fix that. Any ideas? Oh, btw, the built-in WP-RSS-Widget did the same thing.

This is not a plug-in error, but you do have the expertise!

Feed import works fine on my little home server or on the local-host, but not on the live webpage.

Several feeds, but not all, have the error message on the live-page: “Feed has no items”
An exact copy of this live-page on the local-host and on my home-server, works perfectly and faultless.

The live-webpage is on a shared hosting provider, so I don’t have access to the server.

Do you have any suggestion?

I am wanting to add a feed with links to the original website, thumbnail image, and the first 50 or so words of content. However, the site has their feed setup so that the description doesn’t include a snippet of the content but instead “The post [link to post] [title of post] appeared first on [link to website]”. Is there a way to grab a snippet from the content section of the RSS feed instead?

This was working wonderfully until recently. Now I can’t get the button after the description of each blog to show. This was the code. Hasn’t changed at all:

I would like to use css to double space each event. For my old plugin RSSinpage, I used their parameter rsscss= but I didn’t see that for RSSImport. Can you help?

I was trying to find out how often RSSImport checks for updates in feeds – how often feeds get refreshed – I can’t find any answer through the forum or google search.

Is there a way to control this? Is there a way to manually do a refresh?

I have some feeds that don’t work. I’ve tested them and they’re valid.
Here, for example, the feed of defend.wikileaks.org/feed/

I use the shortcode:
[RSSImport display=”10″ feedurl=”https://defend.wikileaks.org/feed/ html=”true” start_items=” “end_items=”use_simplepie=”true” target=”blank” truncatetitlechar=”50″ refresh=”12_hours”]

Same error message on this feed.

Can you add the $shortcode name parameter (per here: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/hooks/shortcode_atts_shortcode/) to the RSSImport_Shortcode function so that the defaults can be changed outside of the plugin?

Since the last updates, I can’t get my podcast list to display correctly. I’m using short codes:

It doesn’t display the descriptions at all, and ignores other before and after formatting, too. Please help. In the interim, I’ll see if I can switch back to an older version.

I have a problem. I have 1 feed source added to plugin shortcode at page https://guidedevsite.wpengine.com/listing/coprocure/, But it throws error “Error: Feed has an error or is not valid”. I need post displayed from https://medium.com/feed/coprocure.

– Description
– Date
– Creator
– Picture

I need to set the date first, before the title.
How can I do that?
How can I choose the order of each item?

The shortcode has been working beautifully! It functions perfectly with other rss feeds I’ve used. But this feed (https://www.bing.com/news/search?q=rem+chronic+town&format=rss) produces the “No items, feed is empty” error message.

Is there any reason why that particular feed should not function properly?

Has this plugin been abandoned? The plugin has stopped working, I have posted that it has stopped and not the developer is MIA?

We use this plugin to post News on each clients Dashboard. Up until a few days ago everything seemed to be working, but now ever site dipbsyas: “Error: Feed has an error or is not valid”.

Is it possible to filter by the creator? Like if I only want to display feed from a specific creator / creators?

Regardless of the feed url I put in the shortcode, only the feed from https://bueltge.de/feed/ is displayed. The site has no caching plugin active.
