I am missing a small but important feature: I dont want to manually exclude pages by ID. I want to show all Pages of category “article”. I activated categories for my pages.
With this feature, your plugin would only show the pages I really want to show as article. Its much smarter that excluding.
Can you add this future?
]]>After installing two pages show up, but not the home page, which is the only one I want to show plus posts. The free version does not offer selections.
I assume the home page did not show because of its date of publication – that is, older than the two pages that are displayed.
To be sure, will the paid version allow for only adding the home page along with posts? If so, will the home page be sorted along with posts? In other words, home page is edited, it goes on top of feed, a post is made and it goes on top and the home page is pushed down by one. This is exactly what I want.
]]>I have RSS Includes Pages Pro, and have been using it successfully for some time. I recently moved my website to a new host, and when the RSSIPP plugin went to update to 3.8, it failed, displaying the following message: Update Failed: Download failed. Unauthorized. I am running the latest WordPress install: version 5.4. All my other plugins are updating fine.
I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it from my prior PRO install. Same failure.

]]>Hi, this sounds like exactly the plugin I am looking for. It seems though that the PRO version now offers much more than is described on this page https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/rss-includes-pages/ eg it includes custom-post types, and you can INCLUDE specific pages rather than the screenshot which only shows EXCLUDE. If you update the screenshot and description you will probably sell more pro versions!
Anyway, I have a couple of questions, I want to include a specific page – great, it looks like I can do that. But I notice on this page https://infolific.com/technology/software-worth-using/include-pages-in-wordpress-rss-feeds/ you talk about the feed only including “recent” pages/posts. Is “recent” determined by the Options-Reading-syndication feed? So, if that was set to 20 and my page that I wanted to include is ranked 25th in date order, then it would not be included – correct? What about when the content of the page is dynamic? For example, the page pulls in a list of current jobs, the “published” date of the page doesn’t change, but the contents do because it pulls in current jobs. So, according to my thinking this will mean that I need to MANUALLY adjust the date every so often so that my jobs page is always included in the feed page. Is it possible for you include an option so that pages are ALWAYS included in the feed page? This would get around the problem of static pages which are updated dynamically still being included in the feed.
If I’ve got the way the RSS feed and dynamic page content works incorrect, then please let me know!

The Facebook Instant Articles mechanism doesn’t read the pages correctly. All pages give the following error:
General Errors: Empty Articles: You have one or more articles without any content.

We create on our site Game-Hubs with a lot of single pages (Forum, Review, Preview, NEWS, PICS, VIDEOS, and so on.) When we use your plugin, all pages will be in the feed. But we dont want that – we just want the Review or Preview page in the rss feed. So we disabled the pages option in the settings and wrote only the page id of the reviews… in the include field – but the site wont be published in the feed because we disabled the pages option. Is there a way to get only specific page in the feed?
I hope you know what i mean ??

I installed RSS Includes Pages, without any problem, but realised immediately that I would need the pro version because of the way my site is set up.
I purchased the licence, but can’t see how to upgrade the plug-in – doesn’t seem to be anywhere to put in the license key.

]]>I have installed this plugin with the hope it will show all my properties in the feed, the first problem is it only displays 10 records the other problem is it does not include a image url in each feed and the price, can you please have a look and see what can be done, I am only interested in getting this feed with the image link included and price also to show more than 10 entries.

Hi, Marios – I have had a great run with this plugin for several years. Unfortunately, I have run into the duplicate GUID entry issue in my feed, which invalidates it. I see that this issue was asked about previously in another thread that has been closed — it says it was resolved. What was the fix?
I rely on your plugin to feed my pages via RSS to an iPhone app, so it’s pretty crucial. When the plugin is disabled, the feed validates, and when it is activated, it doesn’t.
I would really appreciate your thoughts.

So, I’m using CMS Tree Page View in addition to this plugin. For some reason, none of my new pages appear on my RSS feed. It’s really making me angry.
I think I found the reason why: the first page displayed in the RSS has an Order value of 0 while my new pages have Order values of 100, 200, or more. This is because I arrange them using the CMS Tree Page View plugin which uses the Order value.
I would think by default, the RSS would display pages by the date published. Could there be an option for this, because I get an awful lot of traffic from RSS syndication and do a lot of pages, but none of them are even worth doing if they fall to the back of the RSS instantly because of this plugin using the Order value.
What do you think? Could there be an option for choosing how the RSS orders pages?
