After looking at various other RSS feed plugins, I tried this one, even though it hadn’t been updated in 2 years.
Something SIMPLE can be timeless, and though I can’t vouch for every WP version, I’m very happy with this plugin because of its simplicity.

Very simple plugin that does, what it shall do. But it is really ugly! There is a tall blank line under every headline but none under an entry.

Inserts feed summary lines as <h3> titles, which is not acceptable for me. Does not allow retrieval and display of feed source.
