Hi, I am having issues with the form showing up on the front end. If I’m logged in, the form shows, but as soon as I log out, it’s no longer visible. I use Siteground hosting which has a lot of cacheing set ups, so I have turned them all off except for dynamic cacheing. I have cleared the cache in the backend as well as in the browser. I’ve tried incognito windows but still the form doesn’t show up. I’ve tried Chrome and Safari. I have also tried the Health Check and surfed to the page and turned on the rsvp plugin and it does show up, so I’m at a loss as to why it’s not working on the frontend. Unfortunatley, the invites have been sent out and people aren’t able to respond. I hope you can help me to troubleshoot this in a timely manner. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good morning,
I want to create a custom form. How to remove in default questions like:
-So, how about it?
-If you have any food allergies…..
How do we do
THANKS
We are using the free version of this plugin. There is a ‘css’ box in the settings where I added css for increasing the font size but the font hasn’t changed.
We would like the RSVP form fonts to better match our website text.
Thanks for any assistance. If we can only increase the font size with the Pro version – let us know.
Please email me if you require to see the page since it is password protected for my clients.
Thanks!
Hello! I hope it’s alright to ask another question. I am utilizing the “note” field with some custom verbiage. If an attendee fills it out, the email they receive has a copy of what they put in the note field. But, that text is not being saved in the attendee list. I’ve attached some screenshots to try and demonstrate the issue.
– Filling out the “note” field: https://i.gyazo.com/16314a0277c969eabfeae203fa344bb3.png
– Receiving an email with the text from the note field included successfully: https://i.gyazo.com/825a88b70da8387ae1c27729ef45679a.png
– The attendees list, with the note field completely empty: https://i.gyazo.com/3f1452d87deb98c6a88fbfda7e16f442.png
Thank you very much for your time.
Hello! I’d like to match the styling of this outputted text:
?$output .= RSVP_START_PARA . sprintf(
????????????????????.__( ‘Hi %1$s %2$s!’, ‘rsvp’ ),
With this text:
if ( count( $associations ) > 0 ) {
????????$form .= ‘
’ . __
Is there a way to do so? Thanks a bunch ??
As I also needed a form on my contact page, I installed Contact Form 7, but there’s a conflict with the translations: The .mo and .po files are getting copied and added to wp-content/languages/plugins and it messes with the RSVP plugin : my site is in French, and elements appears in English (but not all of them, just some), Instead of “First name” and “Last name” as the verification form, it appears “Name” and “Name” .
I haven’t tested in other languages, but I assume it will mess the same.
Is it possible to remove the requirement for a last name? I just want a name field.
I have implemented the free version of RSVP and all is well except that I am having difficulty in two places. The first one is that with my Avada theme, all of the text is white (which is great); however, the text where it recognizes that additional people and states the following:
“The following people are associated with you. At this time you can RSVP for them as well.”
Is in black and disappears with the background image used in that section. How can I make this text white?
And secondly, we are using the Vegetarian meal button and would like to switch the text to be Vegan rather than vegetarian. Is there a way to do that? (I can dig through the files and find it, but wondering if there is something easier and more supportable).
I sent you a message through your support form and never got an acknowledgment of the message or an email when I tried to email the address directly. Is support not provided for paid users anymore?
Is it possible to have the message (I think the code is $note_verbiage) show right before the RSVP button? Right now the message shows after the main guest but before additional guests. I’d like to use that message for a family RSVPing with any potential notes that apply to all (versus just the main guest). Is this possible to achieve? I tried to move $note_Verbiage in the main php file but I got an undefined error when moving it around :/
Hi, I’m using WordPress 6.2.2 and Elementor 3.15.1, the problem is the short code for the attendees is not showing up, but the attendees short code list does show up.
When i register an attendee and try to look all of them in the list of the event, this one’s don’t show up, but in the short Code it does.
I reinstalled the plugin but sadly didn’t work, removed all the CSS and this neither work.
I’m using the pro version.
Hello,
I encounter 2 issues with the free version of RSVP :
I have sadly zero knowledge in CSS. Thanks for any help !
I’m having trouble testing the RSVP form. I’d like any visitor to be allowed to submit a RSVP request to attend my event. I set “Disable searching for a user when no user is found:” but the problem persists.
Hi there!
We are using this plugin for our wedding website and the first guests are RSVP’ing. We’ve received feedback that some people don’t see the “We were unable to find anyone with a name of?…” notice and assume they’ve RSVP’d successfully. I think this happens because that notice is put at the top of the form, instead of below the submit button.
Thanks again!
Hi there! Thank you for a great working plugin.

2. There’s also a small issue with the border-radius on mobile. It’s all the way round, instead of 2px. This issue doesn’t occur on desktop screens.
3. Then I’d also love to add a margin to the drop downs for custom questions, so they’re not so smushed together. I wrote some code but it doesn’t seem to work:
input[type=”dropdown” ] {
margin-right: 0px;
margin-left: 20px;
}

Hello there! this is a fantastic and extremely versatile plugin, I am so glad I have the pro version. I was hoping you could help me set up a unique project.
I read that premium support must be provided via your website, but the form isn’t accepting my message. If you can provide an email address as a response to this post I will email you the following question:
I am getting married this summer and I have 3 different wedding locations. Not all guests are invited to all 3 locations, and this can be awkward as I would like to hide the specific details of each wedding from being universally public. I am hoping that with RSVP pro, only the guests laid out on each guestlist can access information on the wedding they’re invited to.
I would like to use rsvp pro as a content gatekeeper – by having their name on the correct list they will essentially RSVP simply to access other information on my website. I’m not sure if I can use the parent event to allow all attendees to enter their name, then be automatically redirected to the correct page after.
is this possible with RSVP pro? I appreciate your help, I am a WP novice but I am certain your robust software can assist me with this unusual request.
thanks!
Matt`
I was using the free version and decided to purchase the Pro but it’s not working the same as the free. I tried importing an attendee list but every time I do, it says “0 total records were imported”. I tried by uploading both csv and excel.
the main user is not able to save the custom question for associated attendees.
Hi, I’ve used the free version of RSVP plugin for years now. It worked well for what it could offer but now I bought the pro version and it has crashed my site several times.
My website is built using Thrive Architect and this worked well with the free version of RSVP plugin but now when I try activate both Thrive and RSVP the website crashes. I tried to build my event aside from Thrive but I aslo have the challenge of not being able to create custom question/fields like I could in the free version.
I sent an email on the rsvppro website but I haven’t gotten any response. also the support page doesn’t work.
May you please assist as I have 2 critical events that I need the plugin working ASAP
hi! I wrote to the support for the pro version of the plugin but I didn’t received any reply, is the support and the pro version on the plugin still running?
Just purchased the premium version of this plugin and the attendee list is broken in the admin view. The above screenshot demos the issue. Please let me know what I can do to resolve this issue as it will be difficult to monitor folks without being able to view them. I can export the list but I would prefer to not go that route. I also cannot find the support option for pro users on your site and sent an email through the contact there.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
we are not able to add additional Guest under form.
can you advise us how to solve this?
thanks
Hi,
We are email you this way because the contactform of your website https://rsvpproplugin.com/ isnt working.
We recently purchased the RSVP Pro plugin and run into two problems.
1. The message “This field is required” seems to be hard coded with javascript. Editing the field doesn’t seem to work (https://prnt.sc/_9PXgwGKzY2U). We also tried to edit the translation file (https://prnt.sc/-P5lz-itGp9a). Can you make this field translatable?
2. When we sign up a “attandee + a associated attendee” and then we change the associated attendee status (RSVP status to NO) we still receive the “Email body for the attendee email:” e-mail notification. Is it possible to have a seperate email notification for this? That way we can say something like “You changed the associated attendee status to NO. Your status is still set to Yes. See you than!”
Hope to hear from you.
Best regards, Tim
Hi!
I’m trying to use the RSVP plugin for the first time. All is setup, I made 2 custom questions and now I want to import the list of attendees. Thing is, I made a complete excelfile with associated attendees and who should answer which question, but if I import the excelfile (either as .xlsx or .csv), the plugin only seems to register the first name and second name, not the associated attendees or custom questions.
To resolve this issue, I manually entered some attendees with associated attendees and custom questions, exported the list of attendees to get an idea how it should be organized. But even when I deleted the manually entered attendees from the plugin and then imported the exported file, it only registers the first and last name and not associations or custom questions.
I’m using the latest WP and everything is updated. Can someone help me do some troubleshooting?
I’m using WP 6.0 and PHP 8.0.

hi,
I’m pretty new on RSVP as admin.
How does it work the automatic sending email mechanism?
I mean: I created the dedicated page with [rsvp] content, my attendees are in the list with their email yet, i setup start-end date from settings but as a result still no one got any email with the rsvp survey…
is there a kind of trigger to click to “send” the rsvp?
Hello,
Unfortunately, the plugin does not send emails at my site, which is built with Astra theme. Not to me, the organiser, nor the attendees. I wonder why and what I could do to fix it. Can you please help?
I have already ticked and unticked the box in the settings regarding not sending from my own email, the registered one on the plugin. But I can’t see where it would send the emails from, either way. Doesn’t it need my email details and pssw?
This doesn’t make sense. I thought I would let you know.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi there, thank you so much for creating an amazing plugin!
I had set up a website at the start of January with an RSVP page. The website is hosted on siteground, with Elementor installed and the Astra theme used. I had created a dedicated page and inserted the shortcode [rsvp] and had no issues with the plugin when it was first set up.
I then hadn’t revisited the website in around 1 month so had made no changes but automatic updates of the plugins (Elementor)/themes (Astra)/wordpress (latest version) have taken place since then in the background.
When viewing the RSVP page today, only the title was showing and the RSVP area was not visible at all (seemingly similar to the previous post on the support forum?). I tried several browsers, tried clearing all local and server caches, but the only way the RSVP area would be visible was if I was logged in as an admin on the website.
I inspected the page and noted the following CSS was present:
.rsvpArea, .rsvpParagraph, #rsvpPlugin {
display: none;
}
I have now added custom CSS to change this to display: block; and this has resolved the issue, but it feels like a bit of a patchwork fix? I was just wondering if anyone could suggest why this has happened? I have no other custom CSS and no other plugins installed other than Elementor.
With the CSS above I technically now have no significant issue but I thought I would still post in case anyone else is having the same issue or a fix is needed?
Thank you advance and thank you very much again for a great plugin.
I have had this RSVP app set up on a website I did for my cousins wedding and it has been working great. However, when people go to the bottom of the home page https://brittandjeffmontanawedding.com and got to the bottom to click RSVP, the RSVP is not showing up to let them register.
I typically use Chrome and thought it may be a browser issue, but others are telling me that they can’t access it in Chrome/Safari/Firefox/Edge… Any suggestions?
