I was able to add a new user meta field using functions.php and get it to show up in the Modal register form, but it is not saving to the database.

The login works when I click on the popup link but not the register. I used the following code for the register button:

It displays the Register link but the register form does not popup. Instead it shows the login form.

I used it in other theme and the menu option works fine, but not in Avada theme.

I have a menu in wordpress with Login option but I dont want it to go to a page but to show the modal window directly (in the frontpage of the blog).
