Can you please tell me if your plugin does the following:
It has a widget that shows a category filter in a drop down menu (or something similar) that allows us to minimize the number of links below it because just posting all links in a widget takes up way too much vertical space.
Then, it also displays category pages so i can hand out a link to each category and people can see & copy the links.

e.g.
post1 in category AAA (main) and BBB (second)
post2 in category AAA (main)
post3 in category BBB (main)
post4 in category BBB (main)
Now, when I go to category BBB, I want to display in sidebar latest posts of category BBB. Default your plugin display post1, post3 and post4 but I want to display only post3 and post4.

The plug-in looks exactly what I’m after as the Listingpro theme I’m using doesn’t show categories for post (or in this case Listings).
However, After showing some related posts it seems to continue to show posts for other categories, all be it without the category title.
]]>I’m using CM Tooltip Glossary plugin. It creates another Taxonomy called Tooltip Categories. for some reason whenever I try to use that the links are getting malformed.
I’m not sure what’s causing it. Anyway you can help?
Here is a page that shows what I’m talking about. If you inspect hte element you’ll see that there’s like a span tag being added in the title attribute of the A tag and it’s messing it up and making “> appear before each link

On posts in Category A I have the widget set to exclude Category B posts but it still shows the post belonging to both categories.
Shouldn’t it exclude the post that belongs to both A & B?

Loved the plugin.
Seeing one error though. The CSS crop is causing error. Not all thumbnails are cropped properly.

A change in release 1.1.5 has created the following issue.
I use paidmembership pro to restrict certain categories to members only.
In previous releases this worked well, I can list posts by these restricted categories as a sidebar alongside these categories of posts, all when the member is logged in.
Now these are no longer showing. The search is returning no values. Roll back to release 1.1.4 and they are visible again.

]]>I have a category “poetry” on my site as a parent with child categories of “April 2020.” & another child with the author’s name. I want to show “April 2020” and other posts with the author’s child category attached in the widget and exclude any other posts from the parent “poetry” category.

at the moment the title of each category post is “blu underlined” like a link, because it is a link.
But having all these blue titles looks a bit ugly.
So I was wondering if I can change that to black and not underlined, so pretty much like if it’s not a link.
Of course I don’t want to do this for all links on my website, just for the links within your plugin related posts.

]]>When a post is in more than one category or sub-category, is there an easy way to restrict the videos displayed to only one category?
The Same Category Posts widget works perfectly when a post is in a single category, but if a post is in a second category or a sub-category, irrelevant videos show up.
This happens because it was necessary to create an extra category (“Archive”) to make posts display in the slider at top. So if a post in the Theatre category and a post in the Cinema category are to be seen in the slider, both go into the Archive Category as well. This results in a situation in which a post in the Cinema category will display “same category” posts about Theatre and vice versa. Obviously, I want only Cinema posts to show up besides articles about Cinema, etc.
I used to be able to do this manually with the help of the AVH Extended Categories Widget, which created options in the Same Category Posts widget to show exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the AVH Extended Categories widget has not been updated in 3 years and it started creating a conflict with the most recent update of WordPress, so I had to disable it.
Obviously, one possibility is to get rid of the extra “Archive” category and figure out some other way to select videos to show up in the home page slider. But since it was possible to restrict videos with the help of the AVH widget, I assume there must be some other plug in or method that will do the job.

Is there anyway to limit the number of posts that is visible? For example, I was hoping to show the 5 latest posts in the category instead of every post which throws my layout a bit with the categories with a lot of posts.

Mate this is a great plugin, but I have a small problem with it. I’ve done a bit of research and I’m not sure how to solve this problem.
I have a custom post type called “vehicle”
These posts are essentially vehicle profile pages.
For eg
1965 XP Ford Falcon Coupe
When creating a vehicle profile page, I might set the categories as follows
FORD
FALCON
XP (parent category)
When I do this, and I enable related posts, I’m seeing ALL vehicles listed under FALCON, and NOT just XP.
Is there a way to show related categories on PARENT categories only?
