Hello
Thanks for your plugin. Do we need another plugin for hiding “debug.log” ?
Does it disable HTML comment too?

]]>Hi,
I have come across this scenario, where the rules generated by SAR override the hotlink protection rules. There is ‘.htacess’ file in my wordpress root directory. it has got hotlink protection rules as below:
## Hotlink Protection
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^https://example.com/.*$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^https://example.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^https://www.example.com/.*$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^https://www.example.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule .*\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|png|bmp)$ - [F,NC]
SAR security updates its rules in the same file.
Now apart from this SAR security also generates a .htaccess files inside ‘wp-content’ folder with the rules as below:
# BEGIN SAR One Click Security
<FilesMatch "\.(php|php3|php5|php4|phtml)$">
order allow,deny
deny from all
</FilesMatch>
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(themes|plugins)/(.*)/(.*)\.txt$ - [F]
</IfModule>
# END SAR One Click Security
Now when this ‘.htacess’ present is present ‘wp-content’, the hotlink protection just won’t work, but as soon as I rename/remove this file, hotlink protection starts to work.

]]>Nice plugin. Does the job efficiently. However this plugin seems to be working on Apache 2.2 as the base. the htaccess rules generated are great for apache 2.2 but due to some syntax change in apache 2.4 some parts of the generated configuration triggers logs in error. this is especially true for allow deny rule definitions. there is a syntax change in apache 2.4 with respect to allow deny rules.

]]>Hello dear
Thanks for the plugin
I like me know some questions:
– do you think is compatible with Wordfence?
– are you using firewall rules about https://perishablepress.com/6g-beta/ ?
– have brute attack protection?
– why no options?
– in the next version can possible automatic uninstall? (I think only backup and restore the .htaccess manual or automatic can be a good option)
– in the next version should be change the admin URL access and blocking for use incorrect names or IPs or similar?
Thanks
note – I am testing a lot of plugins, all have a great problem, NO RESTORE IMPORTANTE FILES TO A PREVIOUS STATE, I think this can mark the difference…
