when sharing any of my post to Bluesky, only the title, then the link are posted.

If I insert 2 lines between title and link, then Bluesky catch the image…

Not sure if problem lies on your Bluesky share button or on Bluesky side itself…

I am reaching out to report an issue I am experiencing with the WP Sassy Social Share plugin on my website. On the page detail view, the social sharing links are generating the incorrect URLs for sharing. Specifically, Its for all post page and all share link.

For example, on this page:
URL: https://www.benhams.com/news/property-advice/right-to-rent-check-uk-guide/

The LinkedIn share button is generating the following incorrect URL:
<a >

As you can see, the share link points to a different page, in this case:
URL: https://www.benhams.com/news/property-advice/property-maintenance-checklist/

This issue is affecting the accuracy of shared content across social media platforms. Could you please investigate this problem and advise on a fix? I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

The “+” button is not working on a site I’m setting up. Nothing appear to happen when I click that button, and I get this error message in my console:

Uncaught (in promise) InvalidStateError: Failed to execute 'share' on 'Navigator': An earlier share has not yet completed.

at HTMLSpanElement.onclick (VM15511 :1:50)

I have done a hard refresh on the page and tried again, with the same result. Any way you know of to fix this? Or suggestions for troubleshooting? Thanks!

When I share a news item from my blog, for example on Twitter, WhatsApp or Facebook, no image appears, only the link to the news item.

I’m not sure what has changed because the Facebook share button used to show on a mobile but doesn’t anymore. I’ve looked through the settings and ‘tried’ to look at the code, but can’t figure out why.

Share button is only displayed on pages/posts and looks fine on desktop.

Please advise.

Hi I can’t seem to find any option in the plugin to remove the nofollow att in the links. Changing this in the plugin files would just get overwritten in future updates. Sorry if I’m overlooking something.

Hello, been testing Reddit share and the problem is that the title populates, but the link doesn’t. What’s the issue?

When I activate sassy social, the social bar is showing up at the top of my blog post AND like 10 other times all over the page. I’ve tried using shortcode or adding via a widget but neither worked. What am I doing wrong?

when loading my website on mobile, certain buttons(floating at the bottom if the screen) dont seem to work on mobile browsers.

For instance: mastodon, if you tap more than once, makes the screen behind it darker and gets impossible to close.

I just noticed that only my facebook button worked. buttons for Pinterest, email, and Youtube just sent you back to the page you were on. I found a place to change url for Youtube.

Where do I update url for Pinterest. Email button don’t really need

Actually i′ve got an issue as the count of my pinterest pins is somehow added as “a simple text number” to the content preview of my posts. It does not occur in the posts itself, only at the overview pages. Could you point out where the issue could be?

On our woocommerce product pages among other share icons only the messenger share button & Plus button is not working when tapped other icons are working well. But on other pages like blogposts all buttons are working.

Plugin settings:
*Woocommerce product page is checked in standard interface placements.
*In miscellaneous settings Load Javascript only when needed is checked,
and Load Javascript files in footer is unchecked.

Our theme and this plugin is updated to latest version.

Tested from:
Chrome (Desktop)
Chrome (Android)

I have added one of our product page link to look into the problem. What can be the issue and how can I solve it? Thanks in advance ??

“This website has been blocked from automatically composing an email.” See here for more details of this problem in general. Bottom line is it doesn’t like the plugin trying to open a mailto: URL in a new window/tab. My fix was to use JavaScript to change the value of onclick.

I want to set the Twitter share count function, but it fails to display according to the prompts. How can I make it display? I also want to set a few common sharing icons on the product details page, and display the remaining platform icons when clicking more. How can I do this? I’ve been waiting for this update for a few weeks now, as it was promised that the plugin would be fixed on the next update.

However, it remains the same and is broken.

Hi! We are just learning custom post types now – things that aren’t quite a post, nor a page. So we created a custom post type and then made a post for that custom post type – but no social media icons are appearing on that kind of post. On standard (non-custom) wordpress posts, the social media icons appear. Is there a way to get social sharing on custom post types, and if so, can you let me know the steps I need to take to do it?

Hi, I’m using the share shortecode in a custom post category archive page made with Elementor. The shared link is expected to be the current post category archive page, but instead the link that is shared is that of the first post displayed.
