This plugin works as described and is really handy for those of us who want to keep our hands on the keyboard for maximum productivity. Much appreciated.

Works like a charm! Can’t believe this feature is still not built-in. Thank you

Updates posts/pages great but after save the page auto scrolls to the foot of the first (main) text editor field. But I have long pages with multiple text editor areas created with ‘Advanced Custom Fields’ plugin.
Downloaded this hoping to avoid scrolling up to ‘Update’ button and scrolling down again on these long multi input pages. The plugin does the scroll up and click BUT page then auto scrolls to first text editor field (default wp behaviour? i don’t see it in js), so I lose my place on the admin screen.
Thanks, but works 50% for me on long pages.

I use it all the time. A tremorless way to save any post. Pity it doesn’t work on some pages (ACF options pages, content area) but still a must-have.

Installed, no setup, just works – Ctrl/S at at last!

I just successfully tested Save With Keyboard under WP 4.6.5!
Neat!

This should be default out of the box. Muscle memory is the best.

This plugin just save me so much time. I have a 18 programmable button mouse and now I update pages with one click. If I saw you you I would kiss you!

This is a perfect solution for utilizing the other WordPress shortcuts so you don’t have to leave your keyboard as much. Thank you!

Thanks, this is just what I needed!

Even though it hasn’t been updated in a while, it works. So if you want this functionality, use it!

Just a small insignificant bug – the tooltip displays: “Ctrl+§§§S or Cmd+S to click”

This plugin makes blog editing way less stressful.
Thanks for sharing!

I like to use Ctrl+S. This saves time and improves work efficiency.
Thanks

…just what I was looking for. Did the job eventhough this was the third plugin and the other two didn’t. Thx. Great job!

The amount of times i press ctrl + s by accident on WP is unbelievable ! Quick answer for a simple problem.
Thank you !

I almost always press CMD-S by mistake (naturally) instead of scrolling to find the often obscured UPDATE button. Now it my workflow flows as it should, naturally. Thank you to the developers.

Thanks guys – such a simple little thing but awesome functionality and one of the few plugins that requires no undocumented configuration – quite literally plug and play.

The plugin broke down after some major WP updates. I fixed it and the original author gave me repository access to commit the fix.
Everything is in working order again.

I’m so used to hitting Ctrl+S to Save in so many other programs, but it doesn’t work in WordPress without the plugin! This helps me out a lot, especially when I’m testing changes and going back and forth between the admin and my website. Very big help!!

If this plugin wouldn’t we would code it.
Simple & smart

This plugin works great when editing Theme or Plugin files via the WP Admin GUI, but when you’re editing a Post or Page, instead of saving, it publishes…
I’ve deactivated it until that is changed, simply too easy to accidentally publish content that isn’t ready yet.

Thanks, I was fed up with pressing ctl-S in the browsers; it completely disoriented me and often I lost my train of thoughts. Thanks for this little gem
