Now I would every much like to have a page that you only have access to when you are logged in with your username and password .

As an Admin, I’m no longer able to log in as one of my members to test their log in credentials. I can log in as Admin but not as anyone else that is a member. I was always able to do this until recently.

Has development for this plugin been discontinued? Support from the developer looks to be non-existent for many months.
If this is not the case Fida Al Hasan, then would it be feasible for the plugin to get a version bump for the current release of WordPress?

Also, I have some cosmetic suggestions for the plugin. Since it is already using AJAX, would it be possible for you to add a collapse function?
This is what I mean. Currently the plugin only displays as a box which takes up much valuable space. A configurable setting to allow the box to be collapsed by default would be excellent. On the front-end clicking an arrow/button or title bar would toggle expanding or collapsing of the widget in the page which would in turn move other elements on the page up or down. Clicking a text link on the collapsed widget (ie: login) would expand out a floating version of the widget without sliding down other elements on the page.
When collapsed, the plugin would show (either horizontal or vertical) text links (or buttons, option in settings).
A logged in example (configurable) would be something like:
Hello,
[username] | Dashboard | Profile | Logout
Being able to customize or blank out the greeting would be handy.
A logged out example would be something like:
Login | Register
Forgotten password help would be found in Login.
Options to choose how it expands would also be very slick:
– Floating or embedded in the page.
– Movement options with duration setting: slide, fade, instant
– Location: In widget area as it is now or as some sort of expanding tab on edge of page (left, right, top, bottom).
— Location on edge settings: Both for looks and function (to avoid other objects) the chosen edge should have options too: left/right, top/bottom, center, or custom.
I hope that both this plugin is not discontinued and that these suggestions are helpful.

I looked almost every where but I can’t find the solution how solve the problem caused when we try to reset the password.to rest the password.
The plugin works fine in every form, but after submitting the reset the password form that is when the problem occurs:
a- Once submitted the form
b- I go on my email application and check the email
c– On the email once I click on the resetting links, on the WordPress instead to have to actual resetting page I have the following:
Please enter your username or email address. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.
Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.
Then is asking to ENTER THE USERNAME/E-Mail
ect , but even buy re-entering for the second time the details, still the problem is not solved it goes back to a loop.
The strange fact is that all the SIDEBAR LOGIN PLUGINS THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
Currently I have disabled the lost password link.
My question is there a way to solve the inconvenience, or to disable the actual
lost-password-form.php (SB-LOGIN) and divert the Lost password link (located in the sidebar) to the default WordPress form?

Hi when I used our plugin (which used to work fine) I get the following line when a user tries to login

I also see the redirect when I go to my home login page

I have a customized version of sb-login working with wp-recaptcha and wp-login-recaptcha. Both of those two plugins are customized, too. The biggest issue was they would display a themed CAPTCHA (too big for sidebar), and would redirect on success or fail (instead of an AJAX response).
I’m trying to get my patches merged into these plugins, but if that fails (the other two don’t seem to be maintained very well), if I can get sb-login working independent of those changes, do you have a patch-submission process?

Can the plugin have an function call exposes however you’re calculating that number, and return the query (or query results). So I can do something like:

After the update to version 2.5 and having created a new translation file for dutch (I will send it to you by email), I noticed that the date was still in English, while all the text was translated correctly.
I tracked the issue down to line 129 in sb-login.php
In the function get_last_login, the option for localizing the date in the mysql2date function was false, when it should be true.
This is the code I changed it to and it works now.

$last_login = get_user_meta($user_id, 'last_login', true);
$date_format = get_option('date_format') . ' ' . get_option('time_format');
$the_last_login = mysql2date($date_format, $last_login, true);
echo $the_last_login;

I do not like the equation that comes with capcha plugin.

But I’ve an issue with the automatic redirect.
I’m using Peter’s Login Redirect plugin to redirect automatically all private member to their own and unique page which is : www…/acces-membres/username
With that plugin I’ve also set up the redirect when log off.
The log off redirect works but not the log in. Your plugin is forcing the redirect to “/?wck” or something like that and cancel the settings of the redirect log in made in Peter’s Login Redirect Plugin. I’ve seen the php line to change the log in redirect but is there a way to disable the login redirect from your plugin in order to manage all my redirect into the Peter’s Login Redirect plugin?

I have the latest version: 2.5 and I still get this message below:
“Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.” So they have to enter their email/username again, they get another email, they click on the link in the email and now they can reset the password.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
