]]>The plugin works fine on 3.9.1 but when i edit the single image after uploaded it to remove the watermark or to resize the image, the scissor and watermark plugin panel was not here anymore.
anyway if you go to MEDIA (so outside the post) and chose the same image and click on EDIT, you ll see the scissor and watermark panel, the same of older versions.
anybody can find a solution to add the panel in the post edit image too?

If the user does not have the capability or role to alter the settings, they should never see a nag message at the top of the screen directing them to a “settings” link that won’t work for them in the first place.

]]>I have tried EVERYTHING to get the watermark to go away. I have tried to reset it on each picture, remove and reinstall the photos after disabling the plugin, I uninstalled the plugin (and they were still there)…
On some of the photos, the watermark is there in the media library, but not when I post it. But I’m trying to create a slideshow and I don’t want the watermark on each photo. Please HELP!!!

]]>I have a message “Error loading image”, after image has been uploaded.
It is about full sized photography 8-12M pixels.
Images of 150×150, 300×300 are created but, full size image resize from for example 4272×2848 or 3648×2432 to 800×600 doesn’t perform.
And I have orignial sized photos at gallery.
I also tried at wordpress 3.5 – same effect.
I tried to turn off all another active plugins – it doesn’t work.
I tried to increase PHP settings as you recommended

]]>I’m trying to add a watermark to large images and full images. It’s adding the WM to the full image but when I add it to the large image, it appears on the thumbnail as well. I do not have thumbnail checked at all. Is there a reason this is happening or something I should do differently? Perhaps it is not recognizing the 150×150 as a thumbnail?

I’m using Scissors and Watermark 3.2.1 on a WP 3.5.1 version single site installation with Suffusion theme.
The plugin worked fine for me for 2 days, with or w/o the auto-watermarking uploaded full-size image. The watermark image is “https://www.yuhua.org/wp-content/uploads/watermark.png” and plugin path set as “wp-content/uploads/watermark.png”.
Several days ago when editing one new post, it suddenly stop working from the 2nd image. Tried with manual watermarking, reset and retry, remove plugin and re-install but all no luck.
I checked in image folder, every time manually apply watermark, all image files’ modified date are changed to current. But doesn’t like before, now there is no timestamped “-rect.jpg” file generated, and no data insert in postmeta table. Besides no php error logged.
I’m not sure if this is related to “DB Cached Reloaded Fix” and “QuickCache” I installed. But I did deactive and remove the plugins but still no effect.
Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I have a serious problem while cropping images using your plugin… It’s all fine when I’m cropping the default sizes, e.g. for thumbnail and medium cropping works just fine but when it comes to custom sizes the plugin doesn’t work at all. I get “Can not update attachment data” error and not only this size isn’t cropped properly but also the other already set crops reset to default.
There’s also an error while cropping the large size. In this case error is “Invalid target”. The cropping isn’t done for that size and the same as before other sizes set back to default cropping.
Can you help with that problem?

I have just installed your plugin, but found that watermarks can only be applied to images uploaded after the plugin install. I can see the option to apply my watermark on all previous images but upon hitting the Apply button, the watermarks do not apply.
Also, I was hoping the settings would mean that all previous images were also given the watermark automatically and I would not have to apply this individually as I have over 300 images on my site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is certainly the best plugin I have found for this task (if it can work properly!)

Great plugin, it’s working very well for me except one thing.
I have all of the checkboxes checked: large, medium, thumbnail and full.
However I have some custom images sizes (created by the WooCommerce plugin and also my theme). But those custom sizes are not being watermarked.
I don’t see a ‘custom’ checkbox to check. How can I get the plugin to watermark all of the sizes?

Now I have the plugin installed and activaved… how do I ‘apply’ it to a page?
I cannot remove the watermark image. I disabled the plugin but now every picture on my blog has the image on it and sometimes two images even though I have deleted the water mark image from my site. I want the image gone. This is my blog and it’s not right that this plugin just changed all my photos! I want an answer as soon as possible please. I work with companies and this is not good for me. ]]>When trying to upload media into a post (WP 3.5) the progress bar seems to go to 100%, then there is a pause, then I get an error message “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later” although the picture does show in the media library. The image does not get added to the post because their is no insert option (that dialog box is replaced by the upload error message.)
If I then goto the WP media library I can see the image and click on the title to bring up the image page. If I then click on “Edit Image” (the WP edit image button, not the Scissors edit image button) the image is not displayed and instead I get an error message “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.”
Any idea what’s going on? If I simply disable scissors everything (upload, insert, edit) seem to work just fine.
