Thanks – this plugin does the job well. This capability (searching a post by #123) clearly ought to be part of WP’s Admin search functionality.

I use the post id permalink and am looking for a way to use WordPress search to return results by numeric post id. (For example, user searches for either 45 or domain.com/45 would return the post.

Is there anyway to use this plugin for this type of front end function?
