I can understand imposing limitations on the free version. But when I tested it, it seems the free version only searches individual pages rather than in bulk. I don’t see the point of that. Search and replace plugins need to handle sitewide concerns by nature.

This is the only game in town for globally searching and replacing content in pages made with Elementor. I tried every other popular S/R plugin, I tried SQL queries, I tried some tricks I learned on Stack Overflow. Nothing worked for me correctly and I killed my site a few times. Luckily I stumbled onto this plugin. I bought the pro version to S/R some content in my 120 page Elementor Pro site, and it worked great. Took about 30 seconds total. This saved me days of manually editing pages. I will be keeping this in my toolbox from here on out as I build mostly Elementor sites.
Afterward I had a very specific plugin customization request and the Dev (Krasen) really went above and beyond helping me out and making it happen which is crazy good. Totally check out this plugin and buy the pro version if possible to support this Dev!

We a building a static website and this tool was god sent. I am finally able to get past the database updates from generic S&R plugins and elementor reconciliation challenges and can continue to scale our assets. Thank you so much !! Bless You !!

I bought the plugin with a premium license, but the desired function – searching and replacing links in HTML blocks – unfortunately does not work at all.
Even after asking the developer, there is no solution. He has not even investigated the problem and does not offer a refund of the license due to malfunction.
The plugin only gets 2 stars because the developer responds very quickly.

I’m doing local SEO and have duplicated a page for a number of service areas. I have a bout 21 locations where I want to change the town name in the Elementor page (among other little unrelated tweaks).
I was dubious about using this plugin when I saw some of the low reviews but I couldn’t fine any other suitable plugin so I gave it a go.
Well, for my use case it was brilliant and did exactly what it says on the box – faultlessly. It’s themed to look just like it’s a part of Elementor and it worked perfectly every time I used it.
For what I needed, the free version was perfect. Shame about the low reviews as this Plugin is definitely worth using.

It just doesn’t really work. The plugin is incredibly unstable on my install. Maybe other people are finding it works (based on reviews?), but I needed it for bulk search/replacing elementor page content inside custom post type and its incredibly hit or miss. Page reloads when selecting your posts, adds weird <highlight> tags to your content even if you toggle that feature off, wont update urls inside widgets. I find it hardly even works when trying to do a search/replace on the page level inside elementor. This plugin needs some QA and a patch for paid users.

I had a difficult search and replace problem to solve for my client on a site built completely in Elementor. I banged my head against the wall with Better Search and Replace. I was about to give up and tell the client that we would have to open EVERY page to do a manual replace. UNTIL I found this plug in.
Not only did we get the changes made in under an hour, the author provided extremely quick support when we ran into a slight technical limitation with the plug-in.
BUY this plug in before Elementor does and you have to pay extra for the feature ??

I was confused as to how to access the find and replace because the tutorial is for the Pro users. Go to the site and you can see screenshots and other details showing you where the page by page find and replace is. It works fine. They just didn’t look around enough. Go to the hamburger menu inside any Elementor page editor and right above the “Exit to Dashboard” link is now a Find and Replace feature that this plugin put in play. They just need a better video.

cant do anything at all – literally nothing – without pro

I was able to bulk-update a bunch of button labels across several pages without issue. Developer was very responsive to my support questions!

I’m a developer who builds websites professionally with Elementor. I found extracting content to do search & replace very time consuming and went looking for a better option.
This is it! The only Elementor compatible search and replace option and it works very well. I’m rapt as this improves my time management significantly.
For a free plugin I couldn’t be happier.
Yes, there are a few points that could use improvement, but it does what is needed.
Thanks heaps.

Works a lot!

as title suggest, the option is not available in the new elementor interface; also from my testing it’s a pay to use.

I understand the need to encourage people to upgrade, but this is unusable. It is easier to edit the page in Elementor with the free version.

The plugin has its limitations, and the design is a bit poor in places (dark grey text on black background). But it actually helped me change out some text pretty quickly. Probably halved the time it would have taken to do it manually.

Can’t even search and replace on my one page without being blocked by a size limit and having to purchase the pro version at an indecent price tag too for a one feature plugin! Highly frustrating. Deleting and looking for an alternative.

What frustrated me the most was the plugin author’s attempt to sell the PRO version despite the numerous issues with the free version. It felt like a ploy to extract money from users without delivering on the promised functionality. I believe that if the free version of a plugin fails to impress, convincing users to invest in the premium version becomes a questionable tactic.
The user interface of the plugin was equally disappointing. It was cluttered and poorly designed, making it difficult to navigate and understand its functionalities. The lack of intuitive controls and poorly labeled options only added to the confusion.
In conclusion, my experience with the Search & Replace for Elementor? was extremely disappointing. The free version’s lackluster performance, combined with its unintuitive user interface, made it a time-consuming and frustrating endeavor. The fact that the plugin author prioritized selling the PRO version over addressing the issues with the free version was the final blow. I cannot recommend this plugin to others, as it fell short of expectations and wasted my time.

Not ready for primetime. Many glitches.
It’s a great idea and does accomplish a replace of keyword in other non-html widgets. Could be a great time saver. By the time you read this, it could be vastly improved?
