Hey
I use TT4 theme (Full Site Edit). I have added your block to main menu. There I can add text or button and both are note pretty, neither does txt adhere to theme. (Underline on mouse over and the other way around).
However, I have added an icon using icon block plugin. So now I have a dead search glass. How can I trigger this icon? What link can I add?
If this is not possible, how can I have an Icon in my main menu that does trigger?
Also, how can I give the modal box rounded corners in css. border-radius: 25px; ?
Thx

I know this has been mentioned before with no satisfactory answer. It is a navigation top-level item. When I deactivate this plugin it reverts to the correct apostrophe. I tried another theme, an ordinary WordPress theme and the same thing happens. When I activate the plugin , the error occurs again.
Has any conclusion been reached on this topic?
Thank you
In your full documentation, on your site (searchwp.com), what I believe should be the example shortcode code, is instead rendered as a button.
You can apply additional customizations that control various attributes of the trigger and the modal itself, for example:
<a rendered button ‘Open Search>
Which renders like so:
<a rendered button Open Search’>
Also the ‘naked’, non-button search above lacks code example.

Hi there. Thanks for your great plugin!
One thing though…our page is failing html validation due to the presence of multiple
elements. Our main theme/content is the correct holder of the tag and WPSearch seems to be the offender.
According to https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_main.asp and https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/main, there should only be one use of the
tag in a document with the (generally frowned upon) exception that you can have more if the the “hidden” attribute is set on any others. Additionally, according to the official docs, the
tag is specifically designated to represent the dominant content of the document which is, of course, not the case with WPSearch’s use.
Besides causing validation to fail, this incorrect duplicated
tag could also lead to hard to track down errors.
Can
simply be replaced with a
?
Kind regards.

Hey there, I have emojis in my menu items. When adding the modal trigger to the menu, all emojies turn into “?”. Did a lot troubleshooting with default themes etc. It is clearly related to the modal plugin. Not happening when the plugin itsself is activated, only when the menu item to trigger the modal is added.

Hi Pavlo
Using this form on several sites (thank you!) and on the latest one it is showing only one result whatever I search for but with links to Older Posts and Newer Posts which do show other instances of the search.
I have not seen the results page like this on my other sites.
How do I get the results page to show all the results?
Is it a “theme” thing?
Thank you.

Hi again Pavlo
I have added SearchWP Modal Search Form to another site after my success with the first site. Looks great.
I don’t think this is anything to do with the plugin as you mentioned before (it’s a theme issue) but on the search results page everything is styled as previously except the heading for each result item is missing so nothing is linked. This is a different theme to the first time I used it but it surely can’t be so different as to not have a heading for each result.
Is it a case of asking the theme developer or do you have any other ideas
Thanks
I am trying to style the results page. I want to place a border around each result but cannot find the specific selector to use.
Thank you.
Does the styling only work when used with the SearchWP search engine? I’ve installed this on my site, and there’s minimal styling, nothing like what I see on https://searchwp.com/extensions/modal-form/ for example. I do have “Positioning and visual styling” enabled.
You can see what it looks like if you click the Search menu item in the footer of the URL I added above.
