I love this plugin, I have used it on a lot of wordpress sites. It worries me that I get an error message in my error log that says “The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated Use __construct() instead”. What I don’t understand that see __construct() in the widget, but I still get that error message. Can anyone shed light on this?

Works as stated – my only issue is that the content in these blocks does not show up in WP Search results.

I first came across this feature when using Refinery CMS. Great to see there is a plugin for WordPress to do that.

Very easy to use. Not complicated at all.
Turn on the plugin, create the secondary editor in the “Writing” section of “Settings”, then make the secondary content appear on your webpage by using the_secondary_content() in your WordPress loop.
Love this plugin.

While we often find ourselves extending WP using Advanced Custom Fields, Secondary HTML Content is a fantastic lightweight solution when only simple non-image based content areas are needed.
Well done!
