I would like to fix this. I love this plugin and it’s not working with WP update to 4.3.
Thank you
I updated some of the information on the content of the tab and since then the content of the 3rd tab is not displaying anymore. I have 3 tabs and I’m not sure if this was case by the new wordpress 4.3.2.
Does anyone have any fix to this problem since the developer seems to ignore this plugin? Or maybe suggest a similar plugin?
I really like this plugin since it serve my requirements so I’m hoping the developers will help us…
Hello there,
Love this plugin! Since updating to 4.2.3, it now doesn’t show anything at all.
Please advise on a fix soon.
Thanks!

Anybody else experiencing this?
Hi,
Is anyone successfully using this section widget with WP 4.0 or 4.1?
Thank you,
SL
When I use the tab button to tab through a web page the section widget is skipped. Presumably this is because the tabs are given the tabindex settings of ‘0’ and ‘-1’.
Is there a way to allow the widget links to be focused like other links on the page?
Doesn’t work on this version.
When I click on the 2 tab on the tabbed section widget it renders the content to display: none;
First tab works fine.
Any explanations? Thank you for your time.
The tabbed plugin would be perfect if it showed up where I need it…
It does show up on special pages, including the category archives but not on the posts themselves. If I tick the relevant box on the the special pages tab the widget still does not appear on ‘all posts’.
I’m concluding that if the widget can appear on the category archive pages (after ticking the relevant box on the special pages tab) then the widget is able to register which categories are ticked but then simply does not activate itself on any posts. This may help to clarify where the code needs to be tweaked?
I will take a look inside the code to see what I can find but I don’t think I’ll get anywhere. Any suggestions – please help!
Hi there!
Thanks for this widget – when I’ve get this issue fixed, its really perfect for me ??
When i’m in the widget/options site, i cannot view/select any Categories or Tags.
View this: https://screencast.com/t/nRdvn2m1g2F
As you can see here, there a four Categories:
https://screencast.com/t/vcvw5bwPe6WM
But its not in a regular POST its in a “digital download”
Is there somewhere I can define that the TAG has to ‘read’ from the Download/Tag directory and not from the regular Post/tags directory.
I Know you had this issue 6 months ago with version 3.6 and you got it resolved but I am having the same unresponsive issue but only while running IE9 everything above that works great all other browsers work as well but IE9 (Of course this what the client is using…) I’ll work on getting them upgraded. But it is still an issue.
Hi,
We have a server cron in place, that isn’t able to run due to a fatal error from this plugin. The error is:
PHP Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/sitename/public_html/wp-content/plugins/section-widget/olt-checklist/loader.php on line 64
Is this something that can be fixed in an update or how do you recommend fixing it?
Thanks
Hi Folks,
I work for York University and use the section widget a lot on our website. However, I just noticed that I am unable to use links or style sheets. While everything is normal in a text widget, the section widget doesn’t seem to be working.
For example, I enter this code:

Contact Us!

The text widget displays a css-formatted button that allows me to link to the page indicated. However, in the section widget, the words display as an unformatted link, and the link shows up as:
https://eehealth.info.yorku.ca/”http:/eehealth.info.yorku.ca/contact-us/”
Therefore, it links nowhere. Can you help me troubleshoot this? I am out of ideas!
Thanks very much,
Chris
PS. The site is eehealth.info.yorku.ca
Please check your plugin. Its terrible at wordpress 3.8. If i want to change a theme i can’t doit , its stuck on the same theme , but it doesen’t tell that it tells that the theme is changed.

I love this widget!
I really like the “Blitzer” theme, except that I would like to tone down the red (to color #800000). Is that possible?
Thanks!
Is this plugin compatible with “Headway Theme?”
Hello —
The section widgets are not displaying. They are simple — one is only text and one is a .jpg. I have tried the suggestions listed on this plug-in description page. I do not think it is related to my theme because this widget interface is acting strangely from the DASHBOARD / WIDGET set-up page. When I choose (click a box) where I want the widget to display, then hit save, it refreshes a moment, then shows itself to have unchecked its own boxes. It appears it isn’t actually saving and therefore not activating the widget.
Thanks.

Hello, I’ve installed your plugin and after have tried to use it for adding an area in my home page to place some widgets I’ve found there is no button, setting, or else! I’ve noticed there is another post on my issue and… no documentation at all for using the plugin; I’d prefer to use a modular option for doing what I need; this time I seem the only option is to custom code my home page with the suggestions here:
HOW TO CREATE A WIDGET AREA IN WORDPRESS THEME: https://www.wpreads.com/2013/03/creating-custom-widget-area-in-wordpress-theme.html
Hello,
Firstly I’d like to thank you for making such a great feature. I really want to use it on my customer’s site.
I’m having trouble saving display location.
I check the checkbox of Everywhere and save, but the checkbox disappears. The widget does not show anywhere. I try checkboxing all the checkboxes and save, nada.
At first I thought it was my theme, so I tried on 3 different themes, including Twenty Twelve, and all have working sidebar regions. But each time I save, the checkbox I checked becomes empty again.
Is anyone having similar issue? Is there any solution?
Thanks in advance,
Jeanette

Thanks hope it resolves soon
I installed the Section Widget plugin with no problems. However, I can’t figure out how to get started!
Just created a new widget on my sidebar, but the new plugin is not giving me any options as to where I want this widget displayed. My reason for installing the plugin was to show only certain widgets on my “store” page (like product categories) that wouldn’t show up on my main blog page and posts.
My blog is at https://www.zephyrhillblog.com
Under Appearance > Widgets, I dragged the Section (Tabbed) widget to my sidebar. When I click the drop down arrow to start playing with it, it shows a giant list of options and no text frames; it looks nothing like the screenshots provided. Here’s my screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/bA9eP.png
I’ve tried messing with the options anyway, but nothing appears on the page I’ve specified its appearance on. I’ve disabled all of my other plug-ins but it still looks wrong. Javascript is also enabled. Could there be some kind of conflict I’m not seeing? I’m using WordPress 3.3.1 and version 3.1 of Section Widget.
