I like this plugin as it hides the wp-login.php file. I was getting multiply log on tries from bots and this took care of that. I did a custom 404 page that also helps.
The other reason I like it is the convenience of being able to log on from any page on my blog.
I would like to see this with some kind of 2 factor authorization but with or without is it a very useful plugin.

I’m using another security, wordfence security , and when i was changing the login mode to hidden, i can’t login. Even i’ve made separate page to login using the widget.
the other choice , i’m using sandra bullock button anda login using my own page.if you can made the own page login just like and option mode, this is would be great.

Works like a charm – I’m thankful for this plugin, as we had someone persistently trying to get into our site during the last days.
But not anymore! ??

@michaelbeck27 how did you get the Plugin to work with Better WP Security? I can’t find line 10 to make that edit nor do I know what you added to the file to make the login visible.
Thank you in advance for your support!

This plugin is AWESOME, with just a little modifications in .htaccess, you can make your admin login page really like GONE. from 403 forbidden to 404 not found, it’s sounds great, right?
five stars.

Installed this and I am using the “hidden” option. After using the “Better WP Security” plugin and adding the extra level of security, the plugin was not able to find the wp-login.php page (since Better WP Security adds a secure string to the end). After going into the Plugin Editor and editing the “secure-hidden-login/script.js” file (specifically Line 10 where it calls out “wp-login.php” in the form action), and adding the secure string to the end of the action, I was able to fix it up. Plugin seems to be working great otherwise — can’t fault the Plugin creator much for this though obviously, since I added the Security Plugin and changed the “wp-login.php” myself. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would ?? Just wanted to put this out there for a warning to other WP users who may run across the same issue!
Thanks for the great plugin!

i was so happy with this plugin i remove the LOGIN area on the wp-login.php so the only way to login, was the homepage, great plugin for people that dont want sneaky people to login!
10 out 10 A+

The username and password fields would go blank when I hit “Login” or enter. It did disable the wp-admin screen. Unfortunately I couldn’t login via the plugin to fix anything.
I had to go into the htaccess file and delete the secure login code to get back into the admin screen to disable the plugin.
