Hi,
I wrote an integration for Segment <> WordPress (also woo, gravity forms, ninja forms).
It’s here: Integration for Segment
In case you’re looking for it. It uses all of Segment’s own open source libraries.

What a shame.
Previously when we created a source we could choose WP plugin. My legacy WP sources show with the WP logo. I can no longer see this option.
My question: The plugin still works but is not being maintained. So when creating a source, should this be Javascript or HTTP API or something else? So far, unable to get my source and WP plugin to connect.
Thanks
]]>Hello. Please add multisite support so when the plugin is network activated it can be configured in the network admin so settings will be applied to all sites.

]]>Hi
we have a special / specific use case and need to comment out all the identify calls that the plugin would make. Any suggestions as to the best way to do this?
]]>Have installed the latest version of this plugin and cannot see the alias function being called in the segment.com debugger, was hoping to use this with the mixpanel integration so would be great if someone knew how to fix this.
Thanks

]]>we have the plugin installed on our subdomain blog.sitename.com and in our backend analalytics we are getting that home page visits mixed with our https://www.sitename.com home page visits mixed since they both report “/” as home page. How can I define “/” on blog.sitename.com as something like “Blog Home” so that we can not have our https://www.sitename.com home page visits inflated?
]]>The ability to hide users by or above a user role is not working unfortunatly..
I’m using Administrator and above and can see my activity logged when in segment debugger (when logged in as Admin)
]]>The changelog shows there is now WooCommerce support for the plugin. Is anyone aware of a reason why the StoreApps Segment.io integration might be a better offering?
They have a comparison from 2014 – https://www.storeapps.org/analytics-wordpress-vs-segment-io-integration/
Is this still relevant?
Thanks
]]>Hey!
It is stated that plugin is compatible up to 4.0.8. Is it really so or this value has not been updated?
Thank you in advance!

If so is there a guide on how to do it?
Thanks
]]>Hi, how do I add events to the analytics code? If I werent’ using the plugin, I’d add it to the tracking code, right? Where do I add it in this case?
]]>I’m using membermouse.com to manage paid members. After a recent update (of this plugin) I’m receiving a errors in most of the dialogue boxes making it impossible to handle member administration. I’ve disabled the plugin and the issue was resolved. Membermouse uses jquery ui. When Segment.io is active my admin area breaks like this => https://www.evernote.com/shard/s36/sh/c8f127bb-3644-42ff-aa81-5f8697ef6d66/525d96128f0c69ff2574166b19361697
]]>Great plugin guys!
I’ve network activated this and the subsites are showing a js error of “analytics not defined” on the analytics.track event. Any thoughts?
]]>I notice that our Google Analytics bounce rates dropped to unrealistic levels after installing he plugin (we use the GA integration via Segment).
This lead me to the Segment docs for GA, and the section that recommends: “If you call track on page load make sure to set nonInteraction to 1, more details here.” (https://segment.com/docs/integrations/google-analytics/#bounce-rates).
Looking at the plugin code, I found that nonInteraction was being set to true instead of 1. Changing the value to 1 in the plugin code fixed the issue with the GA bounce rates.
]]>In the FAQ section, it says, “We automatically identify users that are logged in to your WordPress site, and record their name, email, username, and website…”
What does it mean by “logged in”? Does the plug-in only track the information of WordPress users who visit my page?
Thank you
]]>I’ve just updated to version 1.0.0 but am now seeing error in woocommerce cart.
Call to a member function get_sku() on a non-object in
plugins/segmentio/integrations/ecommerce/woocommerce.php on line 146
Any ideas?
]]>Hi there,
For my implementation of Segment tracking I needed to add some custom traits to the ‘identify’ call. To do this I edited the plugin and added a filter (‘segment_identify_traits’) to the traits array. My code for this is here: https://gist.github.com/hlashbrooke/6195020
It would be great if you could add a filter like this into a future version of this plugin as it will make tracking custom data much more easy to do. There may also be other similar arrays that could do with a filter, but I haven’t looked through the rest of the plugin for those things.
Thanks,
Hugh
dear sir,
I couldn’t understand the segment.io API key.
where can i find it?
Regards:
https://myithut.com
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/segmentio/
please don’t use var e, give it some generic name only for segment.io
javascript debugging is a terrible task to do, please don’t let me go through the horror again
]]>Integration instructions are very confusing. I followed and installed the plugin as directed. But how do I integrate it with Mixpanel. I have a mixpanel account and can get the api key etc., but where do I enter this info.
The Segment.io instructions say the following:
“Now just turn on any of our integrations on your integrations page and we’ll start sending your data to them for you!”
But, how do I “turn on any of your integrations” on the “integrations page” – where is the integrations page? I have searched on my WordPress Admin and don’t find it.
Can you help please?
