I have sensei version 4.24.4. and Woocommerce Version 9.4.2. My students had access to their courses and everything worked well. However now it doesn’t work. My students enter their session and the “Profile” option appears blank. They cannot see the courses they have enrolled in.

By default, all courses are publicly accessible and indexable. This is perfect when selling courses, but not ideal if you want to create internal courses for your own employees. So, is there an option to redirect not enrolled users to the home page or to show 404 page, when they try to access course/lesson pages? I know we can check “Don’t allow self-enrollment”, but the course and its lessons still remain publicly visible.
]]>I’m testing sensei for the first time. There are two options to display the courses you are enrolled in. Option 1: via “Student Courses” Block or shortcode [sensei_user_courses]. Option 2: Via “Course List” Loop and “Course List Filter”. To output enrolled courses only you have to chose Filter Type “Student Courses”. In the frontend you have three choices with both options: All courses, Active, Completed. With Option 1 (the legcy option I guess) if I select “All courses” I will see all my enrolled courses (seems logical to me). With Option 2 (the new Course List) if I select “All courses” I will see all available courses, even those I am not enrolled in. Why do they behave different? Is that a bug or intended behaviour?
]]>We have a problem with a multilingual site using Sensei LMS. It frequently changes the lesson URLS of the secondary language to English, showing 404 when a user tries to visit the lessons.
You can fix the problem by flushing the permalinks and clearing the cache, but we don’t know what causes the problem in the first place and can’t keep on flushing the permalinks every second day. Polylang is used for the site.
Can you help with this?
I’ve unchecked the?Display teacher’s name, Course Author,?in the settings and it’s still showing on my lessons. I use Twenty twenty four theme.

Hi, a customer alerted me to a “There has been a critical error on this website” WP error.
I checked the PHP error logs and see this error that was logged after the above error.
[14-Oct-2024 06:47:45 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ValueError: array_rand(): Argument #1 ($array) cannot be empty in /home/africanreptilesv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sensei-lms/includes/class-sensei-lesson.php:3834
Kindly advise.
Many thanks.
]]>Hi All,
Hope you are all doing well.
Would appreciate with some assistance if possible, i am just short of losing my last hair. I am using paid membership pro, sensei, and youzify.
On my member profile the courses seems be be blocked and shows membership required. I have checked all the settings that i could so far and still cant find a solution.
Would appreciate assistance if you have any ideas what else i can check to resolve the issue.
Was thinking of maybe doing a redirect which is not unique but not sure how to redirect to the logged in users courses.
Any assistance will be greatly apprecited
]]>Hi Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has experience on using senseilms free version. I am wondering if we can style each of the module/lesson page using elementor.
Please see this screenshot on my attemp on changing the layout with Elementor Canvas (Image Link) and how it still look like on the front end (image link)..
Also, if we using Classic Editor to edit content, All of your page (Lesson, Course, .ETC) looks weird,
Is the design editing only for Gutenberg Editor?
Thanks!
Hi!
I am wondering if anyone knows how to make the built in “view cerificate” button on “completed courses” open in a new tab. Currently it opens as a PDF in the same tab, taking you out of the website. This is the button that automatically shows up on the “my courses” page built into the Sensei LMS theme “courses”. There is no link associated with this button, only an Additional CSS class: “view-certificate”.
Additionally, does anyone know if it is possible to add a way for a learner to share their certificate on social media? Currently I can only view the certificate as a PDF, where a learner can download and then share, but could this be automated with a button?
Thanks!
Hi, I’m using the Sensei LMS plugin for the first time, and I need help, please ??
I have the quiz page, but everything appears very disorganized.
I want to create a lesson but it won’t let me because it says this: It seems as if this course page doesn’t have any Sensei blocks. This means that the content will be managed by custom templates.
I have deactivated all plugins, changed the theme, restored backup, etc. and it doesn’t fix it.
]]>Hey guys, just checking https://senseilms.com/documentation/selling-courses-as-a-subscription/ which seems to work fine. What I was wondering is if it possible for us to attach a subscription to existing customers that already purchased a product?
For example, we have a course/product (which was set as a simple product) with a set fee for checkout. We already have members/students enrolled. Now we installed the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin as we want to add a recurring fee each month, so we edited that product from simple product to simple subscription, which seems to apply for subsequent customers that purchase that course/product, am I right? So how do we go about adding that monthly fee/subscription to the students that have purchased the product/course before?
]]>Hello!
How can I set the first lesson to open when I click on the Lesson Actions block?

]]>Hello, my client is having issues with Sensei LMS (free), we’re both unsure how the issue has came about which complicates the issue but here’s what is happening:
The website in question is hosted on Pantheon and has the following:
I’ve already tried plugin+theme conflict testing on a staging site however the issue described above still persists.
Any help would be appreciated.
]]>Please respond to my Pro issue, nr. 8789792. It’s really urgent! Question:
Course is set to start at a fixed date: October 27th. Lessons are set to drip each week, with the first lesson to start at the course’s start date. But, although lessons are not yet accessible, my client already receives email notifications that lessons are available, starting purchase date; next notifications every week. Clicking the lesson link though shows that lessons are not accessible.
A Dutch expert suggests ‘When something goes wrong with planned actions, it is often related to using another time zone or date format, as is set in Settings – General. Developers test in standard English date format, but not with different date formats. “
We use Dutch date formats. Maybe this will help? Please!
Hello, I am setting up my course, I bought sensei pro to sell courses, but when I try to view the lessons as a student, the site tells me that the page cannot be found.

]]>Hi Sensei developers,
Thank you so much for this useful LMS plugin.
Re. Learner Mode Template, I am experiencing issues in the FSE editor:
Your site doesn’t include support for the “sensei-lms/ui” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.
Now, I have the Twenty Twenty Three Theme, and mostly plugins from Automattic. So I don’t quite understand where this incompatibility comes from. I deactivated one plugin, was then able to access the lesson template with blocks and edit them. But when I later tried to access it again, I ran into the same issue again.
Alternatively, I am trying to create a lesson template, but I do not find the Lesson Navigation widget that was available in the early days of Sensei. Does it still exist? Are the Gutenberg block elements available to create a template like the “modern layout”?
Thanks a lot.
Nicole
]]>Hello, I would like to ask if Sensei LSM can be used to create exams with a full-width, fixed viewport, and a scrollbar for each column if the text is long. Users can click on the quiz numbers to answer, but the text should not scroll along. I have checked Tutor LMS and LearnDash, but they cannot customize the design and are not able to do it.
I attach images and URLs so you can take a look. Please go to Reading, Listening and Writing exam samples.
