Hello,
the plug-in works well on the automatic links but there is a problem with the Custom keyword links.
the created link is:
https://domain name//https://domain name/word
The link does not work because there is a repetition of the domain name.
I tried changing the Redirection base path but there is always the error.
Thank you for a solution.

]]>Hi Vladimir,
I see that this plugin is not updated since 3 years. Are you open for us to adopt this plugin & continue it’s development?
From the support forums, it seems there are issues which need attention.
You can check our current plugin portfolio at: https://profiles.www.ads-software.com/tychesoftwares#content-plugins .

]]>Goodmorning :)!
Since a week I get a notification from WordFence about SEO smart links:
“The Plugin “SEO Smart Links” appears to be abandoned.”
My client loves the plugin and uses it on al his websites.
We really want to keep using the plugin.
The plugin isn’t updated in 2 or more years. Is the plugin still good? Can we keep using it? Of is it better to go look for another similar plugin?
Thanks in advance!

After configuration, singaporelocksmith.org works perfectly but it is not working for nicoleconsultancy.com .I have checked all the options in both websites are identical.
Appreciate if you can advise how we can tweak to get nicoleconsultancy.com working.

This is a great plugin! It works really well. I did notice, though, that the option to make all external links open in a new tab (adding target=”_blank” automatically) does not get applied to category/tag archive pages. I would love to see this feature as an option.
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I am managing a multilingual website with WPML. It happens that, especially for scientific terms, we use the same English word in all languages (e.g. we say “good practice” both when we write in English and Spanish). Is it possible to redirect the internal link “good practices” to the English version of the page for English visitors and to the Spanish version of the page for the Spanish visitors?
Thanks,
A
]]>Hello,
My website is SSL Secure (https) . I installed SEO SMART Link plugin and setup everything correctly. placed some keywords with external link. But links are not linking with keywords. I mean totally not functioning this plugin. I tried my non SSL Secure site and works Perfectly ( Both sites are running with same theme named Schema ). Can anyone solve my problem? This plugin was updated 3 years ago. Can #Author update this for current WordPress version? Even I don’t know that if this plugin works or not with https sites.
We’ve a custom post type and notice that Custom Keywords will also work in custom post type. Is it possible to disable it?

]]>Hello,
does this plugin support keywords in other languages? I want to create custom links to greek keywords. It seems that it is not working for this language. In english language it works fine.
]]>I had used this plugin for 5 month.
in two last weeks, we had 503 error in site.
We enabled the WordPress Debug, and we get a lot of errors depends to SEO SMART LINKS
there is some examples:

I manage a large site hosted on a dedicated server at WP Engine. I installed this plugin and the server started giving 502/504 errors for three days, and we finally had to disable the plugin and roll back the site. Small problem.
]]>I know I’m not the first person to point out that this plugin causes custom keyword post links to link posts to themselves (i.e. the link in a post directs people to the post they are already on), even if you choose the option that is supposed to prevent this from happening. I saw a post with instructions by Chris that show how to fix this problem, but his fix isn’t working for me. His instructions are over two years old and I suspect that the code has been modified in such a way that his fix is no longer valid.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I don’t mind having to edit the code but I’m not a coder so have no idea how to do this myself.
]]>It took a lot of trial and error but I figured out how to make custom internal links open in a new window. It’s really easy and doesn’t require that you edit the plugin’s code.
All you need to do is add “target=”_blank”” after the link. Note that there are quotes that open and close this phrase, which means there are two quotes after blank.
Here is an example of what a custom link would look like that opens in a new window:
Google | https://google.com “target=”_blank””
I hope this helps anyone who wants internal links to open in new windows.
]]>While i use this plugin and i have been supportive to it and the dev, i think it is time to fix all those problems, especially with PHP 7.
Otherwise, it will die sooner or later.
Thanks
