The plugin seems very simple. Choose where to move from, and where to move to. I am moving from Thesis, to Yoast. However, I get the error “The analysis found 0 compatible database records to be converted,” despite the fact that I have a lot of meta data, custom titles, custom meta description, etc. Thoughts?

As Yoast’s migration isn’t working to convert All in One SEO to Yoast they recommended I use this plugin, however, this plugin isn’t working.

I select Analyse and it is unable to recognise any All in One SEO meta information.

I click convert and it has found no meta information to convert.

I can only presume that All in One SEO have changed the way they store the meta information in the latest version.

When will this plugin be updated to work properly?

We have a staging site set up to test migrating from All In One SEO to Yoast and it will not bring over the meta descriptions. I tried using the default import within Yoast and was unsuccessful. They recommended trying this plugin SEO Data Transporter and no luck there either. This was the result of the analyze:
Compatible Elements:

1. Custom Doctitle
2. META Description
3. META Keywords
The analysis found 2 compatible database records to be converted.

However, after you run it, it says 618 records updated, 590 were ignored.
I check live site meta vs. staging meta and it is not there. Any suggestions? All plugins and WordPress are running at the current versions.

Hi, nice plugin. Before use it i’d like to know what happens o the tables of the old plugin when i transport it to a new one?
I.e. I’d like to move from Yoast to the SEO Framework and i’m wondering what would be left of Yoast in my db. Thank you

I switched themes from Thesis to Genesis – installed SEO Data Transporter to transfer all of my SEO data from thesis to genesis –

So then I installed Yoast SEO to see if I could transfer from Thesis to Yoast SEO and got the same result.

Titles & Descriptions don’t transfer over on Pages & Custom Post Types. Tried various instructions however all say the same.

I’d like to capture an additional meta-key in my conversion from Add Meta Tags to Yoast SEO. The extra meta key is “_amt_full_metatags”. I tried this but it doesn’t seem to work.

It seems that the plugin is not working with the current Yoast SEO or All in One SEO plugins. I tried both as either one would work; however, the Meta descriptions would not transfer with either.

The analyze step included that field. When I ran the transfer no info as to what data was transferred was returned back like in your screenshot.

Are you planning an update soon? I love this plugin and have been using it successfully for years.

We’re looking into purchasing the Yoast Premium SEO Plugin. If we do that, will you have the capability to export the SEO information from our current SEO plugin and import it into the Yoast SEO Plugin?

That includes our current customized Page Titles, Meta Descriptions, noindexes, no follows, redirects, canonicals, etc.

I’m migrating my WordPress website meta data from ADD META TAGS plugin to Yoast SEO plugin.

If I run this query in DB:
SELECT COUNT( 1 ) , meta_key
FROM wp_postmeta
WHERE meta_key
IN ( ‘_amt_full_metatags’, ‘_amt_news_keywords’)
GROUP BY meta_key

the result is
COUNT( 1 ) meta_key
300 _amt_full_metatags
564 _amt_news_keywords

Anybody knows how to migrate these records from old plugin to new plugin?

I try with SEO Data Transporter, but this plugin does not manage these type of meta data.

But it cannot import meta titles and descriptions from All in One SEO to Yoast SEO.
