]]>Hi !
Thanks for this nice slider plugin.
Yesterday I updated to version 0.0? from version 1.1.0
Today, at plugins list, it’s still showing “There is an new version of SEO slider available…”
But the problem is that slider settings are not taking effect on front end; it means that colors, height ….. set on settings are not seen on frontend.
Thanks for your time!
Ana
]]>Hi there,
Just wondering if this plugin will be updated as it is showing as potentially abandoned by Wordfence?
Thank you!
]]>If the slider settings specify a height for mobile, where do we specify the image sizes to be saved? In what functions file, or how? We have a very wide image, 1900 x 450, and have set the desktop height at 450. I have set mobile height at 300 but I do not see wide images at that height on the server in the uploads folder. Srcset is pulling the images available from the regular media sizes as well as a 1536 wide and a 768 wide, all of which are too short in height and stretching them to fit the height. We want to lose the edges and show a much crisper middle of the image on narrower devices.
]]>Hello.
For some reason the text (header, paragraph and buttons) don’t center even when I use CSS for margin:auto 0, flex, and text-align:center. (as examples)
What am I missing here to center the text? All of the above don’t seem to work for me.
I’m very puzzled.
Thank you for your time.
after the update 2 days ago there seems a bug here and it is showing errors on slider
Warning: printf(): Too few arguments in /wp-content/plugins/seo-slider/includes/shortcode.php on line 158
please suggest how to fix this line 158 in shirt code.php ?
]]>I launched this site about a year ago and the slider was working correctly. Now when I visit it I see the slides aren’t rotating. I am using WordPress 5.5 and SEO Slider Version 1.0.10.
]]>Hi,
I love the simplicity of your slider. I do however have a little issue.
How to I add a form submit to the slider?
Whenever I add it via text editor it strips all content.
Please advice

Hi
I am using this plugin since 2018. Recently after changing the theme we noticed that the slider’s shortcode block does not appear full width by default.
HOW CAN I DO THAT?
Remember the other (text) content of the page need not have a full-width attribute as it will not look nice.
please help.
]]>Hi
We have genesis framework and tried to use this plugin to display a slider on a page with shortcode.
It do not work. It only show a page full with all images from that slider.
Do this plugin work with block editor shortcode block ?
Please also help how can we replace featured image with this slider via shortcode?
This must be simple but I don’t know how to do it. Please help.
Thanks

]]>The slide captions center vertically on each slide. I need to move the captions down 30-40px. What is the best way to achieve this?
Thanks!
]]>EDIT: Never mind – I realized the problem was Jetpack’s site accelerator.
I’d love to use this plugin, but I can’t figure out why it’s degrading the image quality or how to fix that.
The full size image in the Media folder is 1620 by 1080 pixels.
You can see in the inspector that the slider is changing it to “intrinsic” 1024 x 683, and then expanding it to fit, degrading the image quality.
How to fix this?
I’m using the latest version of the Corporate Pro theme, and I noticed that after updating SEO Slider to 1.0.10, the way that SEO Slider loads is now a bit unappealing. The background image for the slide now flashes once then disappears during the page load, which I never noticed before. Corporate Pro already has a lot of jumble during page loading, but this notable “flash” of the slider image is a bother. I’m wondering if there might be a way to prevent this?
I’m also curious what the fix for Corporate Pro was with this version release, as I never noticed an issue before.
Thanks!
]]>I’m using the Genesis Corporate Pro theme with all wordpress files, themes, and plugins up to date. After the latest update of the SEO Slider plugin (to V1.0.10), the images in the slider at the top of my homepage stopped appearing. The text still shows up, but on a gray background.
I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, creating a new slider with the same images, and clearing my cache. I see that the latest update was supposed to fix a conflict with Corporate Pro, but I wasn’t having any problems before that update. Any ideas on how to fix this?
]]>When arrows are enabled, the slider causes horizontal scroll. How to fix it?
]]>Hi,
This is David from the WPML compatibility team.
We recently had a support request at WPML about your plugin working together with ours: https://wpml.org/it/forums/topic/non-riesco-a-tradurre-gli-slider-plug-in-seo-slider/
We could resolve it by adding a new line in the file includes/seo-slider-widget.php after line 37:
$id = apply_filters('wpml_object_id', $id, 'slide');
I am sharing this here so you can make that change in your plugin and give our shared users a smoother experience.
Best,
David
Is there a way to show captions on slides? Some of the images I want to use require giving credit to the owner of the image. I can use the overlay but I’m not sure that’s the best option.
]]>Why is the image top/bottom getting cut off? I’m using the recommended size of 1280×720
]]>First, the plugin fits my needs wonderfully. Love the simplicity and the lack of bloat.
It would be handy, though, to be able to reorder the individual slides within a saved slider. I needed a new slide to be shown first, and the only workaround was to reorder the array in postmeta — and as you know, manually changing a serialized array can be a tad difficult.
Anyway, just a suggestion.
]]>Hi Lee,
I’ve been using the plugin before Gutenberg, and it’s awesome.
However, it doesn’t work in this version. Are you planning on updating it? Or just move to another slider plugin?
Thanks.
]]>Am using this slider on the “Corporate Pro” theme and I am not able to see how I can use individually created sliders on different pages.
Tried shortcodes, but that just adds the slider into the text area and does not replace the header image.
Please advice.
Thanks

Hello,
I’m trying to show a slider on a multisite WP install, using Corporate Pro.
When I create a new slider, all fields work fine, but on Publish all fields are cleared (include options and checkbox).
Does this plugin work with multisite?
Thank you in advance.
Can you post php needed to disable the scripts and css on pages where the slider doesn’t exist.
Thanks
]]>Hi, Lee. Thanks so much for your awesome work.
I’ve found a bug that involves the current revision of SEO Slider and Classic Editor v1.0.
When a user attempts to edit a Slider post, they are met with a blank screen. I’m not getting any output with Debug enabled.
I am able to get around the issue with the Classic Editor plugin disabled and Gutenberg Ramp enabled.
]]>Hi, I\’d like to know if I can do these things.
1) I would like to have the arrow navigation outside of the image. Is that possible.
2) I’d like to get rid of those square navigation below the image.
3) Move the Caption under the image, not as an overlay
Thank you!
