I’m excited to see how this works, but so far

I installed the plugin
went through the google api process to get a ClientID
Added the ClientId to the Settings & Saved them
created a new post
scrolled down to the import section
pasted in a link
got these errors: “general error. Done with notices.”

The plugin does a great job with various types of formatting. The Pro version is totally worth it. It saved me a lot of time and effort.

The support is quick and effective.

Keep doing the good work.

Suggestions:

The documentation is not elaborate. Please make much more elaborate documentation with images and extensive explanation of options.
It took me a lot time to find the optimal settings. The author can add an option to add a default set of options that might fit for a broad range of audience.

Hi all,

I hope you are all well.

I am trying to see what is the issue when I activate the plugin (Seraphinite) it gives a great Speed Index + Total Blocking Time + Cumulative Layout Shift time! However it could not measure Largest Contentful Paint and it does not show the percentage performance on both lighthouse and pagespeed insights. Is this because of the PHP version am using perhaps?

This is the error I got from the LCP:

Also when I try to navigate the website it does not appear at all. It’s just a blank screen.

I hope I can get a reply about it.

Hello,

we purchased the plugin after usin the free mammoth docx convert for a few weeks. We are converting quite a lot of existing docx documents into wordpress ( knowall theme ) to create a documentation center for our customers.

Overall it seems to work better than the free version, but still has some issues we can’t really deduct or explain, mostly with tables and images. Wondering if someone here has some answers, will even pay hourly to an expert feel free to message me, I can provide samples etc.

main issues:

1) butchers some of the existing table cell spacing, seems to ignore the background-color of the existing table cells from the docx document ( IE left side has a blue background / white text, imports the white text and replaces background with grey or white )

2) seems to randomly remove a few certain titles, regardless of the settings I change under optional settings

3) mis-aligns some images for whatever reason, IE they were side-by-side in the docx document, but are now aligned vertically with a space between them on a new line ( i checked all the image resize/cropping options )

4) igores arrows, check marks and list bubbles in the tables, also seems to add huge grey empty blocks which we can delete but wondering why they appear.

For reference, we have unchecked this option,

“Use blocks (Gutenberg) formatting”

As it seems to freeze the import of any document larger than a certain size ( not a server restriction, not entirely sure why it happens, but looks fine without using it.

I am using the latest free version (2.12) of Seraphinite Post .DOCX Source, and it works perfectly well. Still, a compatibility check with my currently installed PHP version (7.3) results in the warning and errors listed below. Could you please investigate and share your views on this?

I have WP 5.3.2 and version 2.5.1 of the plugin. It has worked for me previously but when I click “Load” there is no response and no error message.

I have tried with two browsers, Opera and Firefox
both docx and Google Docs
with Gutenberg on and disabled.

Any clues?

Hi, is there a way to copy “Alt Text” to image “Title” and “URL Slug” fields? Because in MS Office 365 there is no option to add “Title and Description”.

All the images uploaded using the plugin have “Alt Text” from the .docx files but “Title” and “URL Slug” assume random numbers and letters.

Even in the plugin settings, there is no such option to copy “Alt Text” to image “Title” or “URL Slug”.

Hope this can be worked out.
