There is no separation between each sermon. It all runs together. Is there some way to separate them.
]]>I used to be able to put text in the main box on a sermon page in order to allow html and link to previous sermons. Now no text or links show at all on the front end even when I put them on the back end. It still works on previous sermons (see: https://www.crosspointcairns.com/sermon/05-the-spirit-helps-us/ )
]]>The latest update mentions a “Data Sync” button in the Settings section. I’m not seeing it, not that I need it. I’m just checking out the new version which in my opinion still needs a lot of work. There are issues that I’ve mentioned for several years (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/support-for-block-themes/, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/this-plugin-doesnt-work-with-fse-sites/) that are STILL not resolved and I’ve given up on this plugin. Thankfully I have enough HTML/CSS/PHP to get it to work for me.
]]>Hi there,
I hope you’re doing fine.
A year ago, I created this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/bricks-theme-incompatibility/ I was wondering if you make some progress on Bricks compatibility. Bricks have the ability to create templates using dynamic data. Very powerful stuff, unfortunately, none of these things seems to work with Sermon Manager.
Here is the specific page I’m struggling with: The single sermon page looks like it is completely stripped from any styling.
Can you please help me with this?
Thanks.

If I upload to Spotify and add the URL of the track in the location field, when I publish the page and view it, I can see the track player, but clicking on play does nothing. If I upload the track to the site and add it into the location field, then it plays.
]]>I’m trying to get more information on your plugin (i.e. get the pro version) but every link is broken. the ‘get pro now’ sends you to this https://sermonmanager.pro/ which is just a random advertising page. I’d really like to keep using your product, but it seems like it’s been abandoned? Your website needs some immediate attention to make it usable.

Has anyone else had issues using the short code [latest_series]? I have imported into Sermon Manager during the setup and it carried over the sermon series I had in the previous plug in but when I use this short code to try to create a page of the series it says “No latest series found”

]]>This plugin does not work with sites like Twenty Twenty-four. This has been an ongoing issue for several years and to tell you the truth I really think it will well never get fixed.
As an example, using Twenty Twenty-four, if you have set the SM settings to ‘Theme Compatibility’ the sermon archive page works but the single page will not display and media (video or audio). If you uncheck ‘Theme Compatibility’ both sermon archive and the single sermon page display all of the content, but the format doesn’t match the rest of the site.
Can you PLEASE fix this.

The validator says it should be set to “yes”, “no”, or “clean”.

I’ve manually changed this but a long-term solution would be better so as not to break the change on update.
Thanks!
]]>Hi all. Been using SM for a long time, but we are having a new problem. When I click “series”, I get a 503 Bad Gateway error. Every other submenu – preachers, topics, books, etc, works fine. I can create new sermons and can even make a new series from the sermon page. But I can’t access the services page.
Is there a way to debug and see what’s causing this?

]]>Hello! Long time user of Sermon Manager, glad its getting some updates. Tito, I’m also a big fan of RST, helped me out a lot getting hired a few years ago.
I’d like to make some major edits to all my sermons – remove individual sermon images and change the mp3 url. I’d like to be able to mass edit the database without having to go through hundreds of individual sermons. Is there a way I can directly access the database?
Also, what’s the best image ratio for cover art? 16:9?

I have the messages to display on a page [sermons filter_by=”wpfc_sermon_series” filter_value=”Emess Hotel”]. when clicking a message nothing reports. However if I open an individual file from sermon manager all sermons. and then preview that file it does count. Any advise?

Anyone have a solution? I don’t want to add 20gb of tracks to the site, I simply want to use SPotify to host the tracks and then play from there on my site.
Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

]]>Hello
We are finding that the latest sermons are not displaying when people use a desktop to access the sermon library page. Instead, there is just a large black section across the page.
This is not a problem when the page is accessed from a mobile phone.

It would be amazing if you’d integrate Bricks theme with Sermon Manager.

I’m using the [sermon_images] shortcode and the results are displaying on a grid (columns 50% 50%). I’ve tried various CSS to remove the 2 columns so they show full width in the container without success. Can anyone give me guidance as to correct CSS to change this?

]]>Hello.
I’m using the most recent version of DIVI as well as the most recent version of SM. I can’t use pro because it breaks Divi with a “builder timeout” error.
Forgive me, I’m still pretty green at all of this, so I might come off a bit dumb. So just hang with me a minute, then you can call me dumb and help me fix my problem. I’m good with that.
I’m trying to pull some of the information from the most recent sermon and drop it into the homepage of the site so visitors can quickly get served the most recent sermon dynamically. I’m trying to get the YouTube embedded video, sermon title, date taught, and teacher’s name. I’m seeing some shortcode that’ll get me sort of where I want to go, but not quite. I’ve googled to try and find some shortcode that’ll let me target just the items I need from the sermon, but have had no such luck. Or, I don’t know what I’m looking at and I’ve missed it.
Can anyone help me out? How do I get specific sermon fields into other site pages?
