The password reset link does not work from this plugin. The email gets sent, but the link is invalid.
This plugin is apparently compatible with my version of wordpress (according to the plugin information), however, I fail to see how it’s compatible if a feature such as password reset does not work.
This issue can be resolved by manually updating the code (reference: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/lost-your-password)
Any chance of updating the actual plugin itself?

]]>I’m using the sexy login plugin on my website and I’m very happy with it.
It works fine for new users, lost password or logins.
However, I would also like to protect the default wp-login.php from spammers and therefore would like to add a captcha on this form.
Currently, I have enabled “blue captcha” to protect the wp-login.php from spammers but the result is that when someone tries to reset his password via the sexy login plugin that the text “ERROR” appears inside the user name field.
Previously, I used math captcha to protect the default login and with this plugin also the reset password option from within the sexy login plugin worked fine. As math captcha is no longer working (it always says the captcha was wrong), I decided to look for another plugin but always stumble upon this reset password problem.
Can you advise a plugin to protect wp-login.php?

]]>I add extra field for user’s registration with Cimy plugin. The registration classic page add these custom fields but for thie Sexly Login plugin, I have only two fields (username/email).

Hi,
I believe there is an issue with the function ‘Lost your password?’ of Sexy Login and WordPress 3.8. What happens is that I can ‘reset’ my password, but receive the same key in the url all the time, and wordpress tells me the key is invalid. Could you please look into this to see if this is just an issue I see, or if its’ a general combination of Sexy Login and the latest WordPress.

When the guy doesn’t check the option, it automatically logs out after a few hours and if the guy checks it, it doesn’t log out for a few days.

]]>Hi there. I’m trying to get this working. My custom theme seems to be the issue. When attempting to login, I always get ERROR or if you try to register someone, you get ERROR. I turned off all other plugins, that wasn’t it. I switched themes, THAT was it. But I have no idea where to start looking for this issue. I’m hoping maybe you’d have an idea what a theme could be doing that would prevent a login/registration. I don’t see this issue with other login widgets – every other login plugin I’ve tried works – so it has to be something very unique that this one does.

my issue is directly related to this plugin, when the plugin is activated i get this message
blockUI requires jQuery v1.3 or later! You are using v1.10.2
and when i deactivate the plugin the message goes away….
I tried doing what some people suggested and update the file jquery.blockUI.js
so i went to https://malsup.github.io/jquery.blockUI.js and coppied and pasted the new code but i still get the same error message, is their any way to correct this, i dont want to have to keep the plugin sexy login deactivated

The widget is placed with a shortcode on header.php file.
When i try to register or login and hit the ‘login’ or ‘register’ button, nothing happens. doesn’t reload and doesn’t do anything.
