Hello
With the proposed plugin, the built-in WordPress login modal does not work. Trying another plugin of the same type, it works.
]]>Hello thanks for the plugin in first instance.
I have an issue to raise, a lot a logs from this PHP Error:
Warning: The magic method SFML_Singleton::__wakeup() must have public visibility in /plugins/sf-move-login/inc/classes/class-sfml-singleton.php on line 72
Could you have a look as it seems quick to fix it,
Thanks
Hi
I cannot enter into the WP Admin tool anymore. I type the correct user name and password and after a couple of seconds, the browser stops searching and asks for the user name and password again. No error msg, no “incorrect password or username”. Nothing… Tried to delete cookies and browsing history, tried another computer, no success.
The FTP server is accessible, the site itself is accessible, but impossible to edit content.
THoughts?
Thx for your help

Bonjour,
SF Move Login ?.
Voici ma configuration wordpress actuel :
WordPress version 5.4.2
Thème actuel : Quality (version 2.5)
Extension actuelle : SF Move Login (version 2.5.3)
PHP version 7.3.19
]]>htaccess RewriteEngine is not available on my shared server. Only “Redirect”
I tried to adapt RewriteRule to RedirectPermanent but without success.
Is there a way to manage this problem or should I look for another plugin or custom code.
Thanks in advance for help
Hi – Thanks for the plugin. Works great except for when a user tries to reset their password, unauthenticated.
I get redirected to https://mysite.com/blog/wp-login.php?checkemail=confirm
and that gives me a 404.
Are you able to replicate? Using latest WordPress and your latest plugin version.
Thank you.
]]>WP 5.3 introduced the new admin email verification screen.
Info about this new WP “feature” can be seen here:
So now when I log in I am prompted with 3 options:
There is 3 options ‘Update’, ‘ The email is correct’, and ‘Remind me later’.
Both ‘Update’ and ‘The email is correct’ produces an error when clicked on. Only ‘Remind me later’ works.
Can the plugin be updated to fix this issue?
Or should I disable the email verification check?
add_filter( 'admin_email_check_interval', '__return_false' );
There is a new conflict with WordPress v5.2.3, when WordPress is installed in a subfolder. Logging in works fine, but when logging out of WordPress the plugin does not redirect correctly and causes an error message to display. The same error message displays when submitting a password change.
Example:
When logging out of WordPress the URL should be:
https://domain.com/subfolder/slug?loggedout=true
But instead is the default:
https://domain.com/subfolder/wp-login.php?loggedout=true
And displays the error message: “No no no, the login form is not here.”
Bonjour,
Bien entendu, j’ai essayé le define (‘SFML_ALLOW_LOGIN_ACCESS’, true);
Hello,
I use move logging since the creation of my shop, about 2 years ago.
Since this morning, I can not connect to the admin interface. I’m afraid of being hacked.
Of course, I tried define (‘SFML_ALLOW_LOGIN_ACCESS’, true);
I also emptied the cache.
Nothing works…
Could someone have an idea, please?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I have a scanner on my website which says “The following plugin(s) have not been tested with your version of WP and could be incompatibile: SF Move Login”.
I also see that the latest update of this plugin was 1 year ago !!!
I really need this plugin to be up-to-date, in order to keep my website locked.
So, is this plugin still maintained and if yes, can you send a new release please?
]]>Hello! ??
It seems to break multisite admin with domain mapping native feature in WP 4.5+.
]]>Hi Greg,
WordPress 4.9.6 has introduced a new action on wp-login.php
to manage confirmations for privacy personnal data requests: https://www.ads-software.com/news/2018/05/wordpress-4-9-6-privacy-and-maintenance-release/
As a result, all users receive an email which contains the login URL (not behind a textual link) and the worst is that this email reveals the new login URL created by the plugin :/
Can you provide a way into the UI to manage this case like the other ones handled by wp-login.php?
The code incriminated is in the function wp_send_user_request
with a beautiful site_url( 'wp-login.php' )
??
Hope this issue contributes to your plugin,
Xavier.
Hello,
I use wordpress with version 4.6.10 and php 5.6.
When i try to reset password, it just returning “Cheatin uh?”
how can i resolve that problem?
From Plugin Description:
Note 2: if users/sites registrations are open, you shouldn’t use this plugin yet. There are some places where the log in address is hard coded and not filterable. A bug ticket is open.
Took a good read through the trac ticket and it looks like this issue was patched and marked closed, fixed
2 years ago… is that indeed the case? Am I safe using this plugin on a MultiSite install with open registration? Thanks for confirming!
Not working with 4.8.1 — it seems to rewrite the URLs successfully, but other behavior you expect after that does not happen. Clicking on /login for example just takes you to a 404 page, but I understand it is supposed to actually take you to the login screen so you can log in!
]]>I installed this plugins. i found that my logout page is not working. then i uninstalled it but the problem not solved. please help me to restore my site and back to its previous condition.
Note that. no htaccess file was created
]]>Hi, I’m getting an error about the cookies. When I go to the login page I get a message telling me the cookies are blocked or my browser doesn’t support it. If I unable the plugin everything is working OK.
Thanks
]]>HI,
I tried to install SF Move Login for a client of mine (a local version).
I installed the plugin & get the error message “Non non non, le formulaire de connexion ne se trouve pas ici.” ??
I’ve cleared (deleted) all other plugins but stil unable to connect.
I emptyed the browser cache but still … any idea ?
Merci d’avance ??
]]>If I go to my custom log in URL (I’m in a subdirectory, so in this case it’s example.com/blog/custom-log-in-url) after logging out and in in my normal browser, it works fine. However, if I go incognito or use another browser with which I’ve never been logged in, it performs the action for “When a logged out user attempts to access the old login page”, (I have it set to redirecting to homepage to test it) making it impossible for a new user to log in.
I’m not entirely sure what the difference is, but all I’m noticing is in my main browser I am able to log in, but sending someone the link it doesn’t work, in addition to the two use cases above.
Thanks very much!
Jake
]]>on sites where I have your plugin installed users frequently have problems when they use the “Lost Password” feature. Is there anything I need to tell them? I personally haven’t noticed this problem but I don’t lose password often either…
]]>I just installed move loging but it didn’t produce the code for .htaccess after saving the changes.
Could someone tell me, why?
]]>Starting with version 2.5.1 when I attempt to go to https://www.example.com/wp-admin it just displays a blank white page and no longer redirects to the new login page.
My current setting is to “redirect to the new login page”. There are no errors in the debug log and I have tried disabling all other plugins and changing the theme to Twenty Seventeen.
I am currently running WP 4.7.5 and PHP 7.0. If I downgrade to 2.4.3 everything is fine.
Is there a problem or is this new behavior?
Hi,
It apparently updates properly but then it shows version 2.5 (instead of 2.5.1) and WP again shows version 2.5.1 available after a few seconds. Also the changelog does not reflect 2.5.1 version.
Is there an actual version 2.5.1 available? If so is there anything wrong with it?
Thanks!
]]>Ever since the latest version of SF Move Login, you can no longer bookmark pages inside the wp-admin directory. You just get a white page if you try and access any of those pages and aren’t currently logged in. So now you basically need to manually visit /login first before you get anything but a white page in the wp-admin directory.
I get why you did this, to avoid redirects to the new login URL, but it’s kind of inconvenient for users.
]]>I recently updated from version 2.4.2 to 2.4.3 (I got to it a little late) but as soon as I did, when I try to activate the plugin I get the following screen:
Move Login has not been activated.
It seems your server does not use Apache, Nginx, nor IIS7. Move Login won't work.
So I went back and reverted to 2.4.2 and I still get the same error. This week I downloaded version 2.5 and it is still the same.
My server is running Apache 2.4 and PHP 5.6 so I do not get why I am getting this error all of a sudden.
Am I missing something?
I have other plugins running but I deactivated them and tried just running SF Move Login and still the error persists.
]]>After upgrade to 2.5 version, the function auth_redirect () not work.
This function redirect for 404 error page.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
since the latest update the alternative login pages (as configured in the settings area) are no longer available on all of my pages.
I get an 404-error.
By disabling the plugin the login pages are available again but – as expected – the regular admin url, too.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter alternative login url for example https://example.com/gstebdncks-login.php
2. User is redirected to 404-page.
Hello,
Do you know why there is still some connexion attempts after the installation of this plugin?
There is à older post in french in this forum about that point but without any issu.
If somebody have an idea …
Thank you ??
]]>Hi Greg,
Thank you for this helpful plugin, but it seems that it does not work when WP is installed into a subdirectory.
My problem is similar to this one: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cannot-login-htaccess-properly-written/.
This is my config:
wp/
folder contains all WordPress core files. With this configuration, I have two .htaccess
: one in the root directory and another one in the WordPress directory (wp/
in my case) with the default rewrite rules of WP into each one.
When the plugin is activated, it writes these rules into the root directory one:
# BEGIN SF Move Login
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^wp/postpass/?$ /wp/wp-login.php?action=postpass [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^wp/logout/?$ /wp/wp-login.php?action=logout [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^wp/lostpassword/?$ /wp/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^wp/resetpass/?$ /wp/wp-login.php?action=resetpass [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^wp/register/?$ /wp/wp-login.php?action=register [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^wp/login/?$ /wp/wp-login.php [QSA,L]
</IfModule>
# END SF Move Login
But as the .htaccess
in the WordPress directory is processed first, these rules are not taken into account and there is a 404 or an error message all the time.
After some tests, the rewrite rules of the plugin should be into the .htaccess
in the WordPress directory instead of the other one like this:
# BEGIN SF Move Login
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^postpass/?$ wp/wp-login.php?action=postpass [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^logout/?$ wp/wp-login.php?action=logout [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^lostpassword/?$ wp/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^resetpass/?$ wp/wp-login.php?action=resetpass [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^register/?$ wp/wp-login.php?action=register [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^login/?$ wp/wp-login.php [QSA,L]
</IfModule>
# END SF Move Login
when you use this kind of installations.
Hope this issue contributes to your plugin,
Xavier.
