Cunjo servers are experiencing some issues at the moment. Please give us a few minutes! Thank you.

This plugin used to be fantastic, but due to ongoing problems it has quickly gone downhill. Would love to use this again if it ever gets fixed.

Stopped working for me in late June 2014. Just completely disappeared, and it appears that they’ve gone out of business/stopped supporting the plugin.

On the plugin page it looks so great, serves a lot of functional purposes.
BUT it’s not working at all.
After activation, the settings tab doesnt even apprear in wordpress menu.
No social shares on the website either.
Removed it.

On 27/6sSame message about “servers experiencing problems, give us a few minutes”.
Apparently a few minutes should read “at least a couple of days”.
Plugin removed

“Cunjo servers are experiencing some issues” and that’s it.

It’s the most destructive plugin I’ve ever seen.

Installed and tested. Abandoned it quickly. The popup “email” window would never close. Tested in Chrome and Firefox on Mac and Safari on iPad. Same result. Also, the strange message in the email window at bottom “Is is hot or cold?” What is a user supposed to do with that? Bizarre. If you didn’t fill in the field and clicked send, you got an even vaguer “!” with no instructions (eg “required field”). If you did fill in you got a check mark, which I presume meant that the message was sent even though the window did not close. Pretty basic usability stuff ignored making it not worth using.

This is pretty straightforward to set up and for the average user it works well, but it didn’t address a number of issues for me:
– I’d like the sidebar icons to automatically jump to the bottom of the screen when the screen size is reduced. Expecting the user to keep clicking the ‘hide’ button is a pain. (See my example below)
– I couldn’t find the option to choose a plain white background. The plugin wanted to include a graduated grey background, which didn’t suit my design.
– I wanted to vertically offset the position of the bar. I know this could be addressed by a simple CSS line but I’d have liked the position option to be more than ‘top/middle/bottom’.
– The elegant bar was positioned within the content of the page, whilst the plain version was positioned outside the content, which I found a bit odd.
Fortunately some of these problems can be addressed with some CSS over-rides and I appreciate the speedy response from the developers to user issues. These guys are clearly on the ball and you only have to look at the number of topics marked ‘resolved’ to appreciate their dedication. They must hold a record for the highest number of ‘resolved’ support issues for a WordPress plugin. I like that!
In the end I hard-coded the responsive buttons as outlined in this article. Reduce the screen-size to see what happens to the buttons. This is what I call truly responsive. If the Cunjo developers could implement this kind of solution I’d have no qualms in using the plugin. For those not comfortable with hard-coding this is certainly one of the better social plugins but for me it needs to address the auto movement of buttons before I’d use it.

Warning! You wil not be able to use any of the features if you do not have a Cunjo ID. to register one!
Dear Cunjo, WP is totally free, You do not need to provide Email or register to download wordpress, so why you have put restriction to register ?
Go to Hell use any other Platform, ITs Free and we expect every thing Free, we do not want any kind of Registration.
You wasted 10 Minutes of my Life. Rot in Hell.

I was really excited when I came across this plugin. I was a bit unsure about signing up but I went for it anyway. And then when I clicked the ‘widgets’ section, I got this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in C:\www\furlongphoto\wp-content\plugins\share-social\views\general\show_widgets.php on line 358
So it doesn’t work.

Well worth downloading. Great options, adds a professional look to your website or blog.

UPDATE: Make sure you update to at least Cunjo 2.1.2 to avoid the issues I described below. There is a measurable performance difference in this version. Also, the turnaround time from me reporting the issue, to them responding, finding it, fixing it, and deploying a new version was less than 6 hours! Keep up the good work.
Original Review:
This plugin is very well designed and functions well once you get the page to load the first time. If you want your users to stick around you’ll want to enable caching through something like WP Super Cache and PreLoad everything.
The difference in page load times between when this plugin is enabled, vs not is staggering.
First time page access with Cunjo disabled – ~800ms
Subsequent cache access with Cunjo disabled – ~135ms
First time page access with Cunjo enabled – 14.69s!!!
Subsequent cache access with Cunjo enabled – ~136ms
I have also noticed that it seems to slow down the admin pages to a totally unacceptable level, even though it’s not supposed to run there at all. It’s so bad that I’ll usually disable it if I’m doing anything serious on the backend.

I tried with 5 different accounts and never got the confirmation e-mail, checked Spam folder. Without this, the plugin was useless to me.

One problem that’s cropping up is that if there’s no post thumbnail (in this case a static home page, the plugin still writes an empty OG tag in the
section:

If you’re using another method, such as SEO Yoast or putting your own OG tags in the head, this causes an error with Facebook since it’s interpreted as a malformed url showing up after any other OG tags (even though it’s just an empty content string) and then all other OG tags seems to get completely ignored.

1. Use an external .JS that make it very very slow
2. The content is loaded externaly and the iShare icon is always the first icon.

This plugin provides a very stylish bar but the !Share icon being always on top is extremely annoying. Deleted and going to use something else instead.

its very good plugin..works fine with 3.5.1
Rating: 2 stars
When I click on the !Share button on the share bar I get a SSL cert warning because the cert domain doesn’t match the subdomain it links to ?? Also, it pulls images and JS from cunjo.com which is slow and causes hangs. All resources should be local. If these items get fixed I’ll change my rating.

Fantastic plugin! Installed, clicked a few buttons and job done. Very, very impressed with this and will be installing this on several websites.
Normally, I expect to have to mess with the code, or alter something to get a plugin working properly but with this, I didn’t need (or want) to change anything. Worked like a charm straight out of the box.
Thanks!

I liked the plugin but I had formatting issues in a mobile browser so went back to the Jetpack share system. With !Share, the share buttons were displayed on top of the post text.
