Hi guys, I’ve had a couple of queries over the last while about the status of Shopp SEO Glue.
Right now the plugin is not actively being maintained and will not be supported (by me) – I don’t see any upcoming changes to this situation unless of course someone else takes over the reins.
For anyone who might be interested in keeping it going, it of course goes without saying you are more than welcome to fork and improve the code then share the results with the community ??

I don’t want to update Shopp to 1.3 or 1.3.1 because I had terrible problems with payments, images and Tax calculations when I updated.

]]>Shopp SEO Glue – Version 1.5.2
Shopp – Version 1.2.5
Wordpress SEO – Version 1.4.7
Problem
The seo boxes appear just fine in the category editor. However when entering the information and saving the category, the information is not saved. Furthermore as the information is not saved in the category editor, there is no effect on the frontend titles
Any issues on how to fix this or if this issue has been identified?

]]>I installed SEO Glue with my SEO by Yoast, and the install went smoothly; however, the SEO fields are not at the bottom of each product page, like they are for the pages. Is there something I can do? I really need to be able to add titles/descriptions for each product.
]]>There appears to be a conflict between Shopp SEO Glue and Advanced Custom Fields.
We are using Advanced Custom Fields to add a couple of custom fields to the Shopp product pages. When we activate Shopp SEO Glue the Advanced Custom Fields section disappears from the Shopp product editor page.
Would you fix this problem? Thank you very much in advance.
]]>Im using Shopp 1.2.3 and Shopp SEO Glue v1.2 and the plugin fixes my category page title tags (the problem I was having before using the Glue plugin), but on those same shopp category pages, my products all disappear when the plugin is enabled. Has anyone seen this?
]]>Hi Barry.
I noticed Cart and Checkout pages are still coming up with the empty page name in the title tag. Similar to how Category pages used to display.
Is there an easy fix for this? Or, any plans to implement the same fix for Cart and Checkout pages?
In terms of SEO, they don’t necessarily need to be 100% customizable, however the lack of any page title at all is a concern.
Also a quick thank you for creating this plug-in. Shopp’s lack of integration with WordPress SEO was always an annoyance, so it’s been a huge help.
]]>It may be that some of the Javascript goodness that facilitates URL previews (on the product editor page) didn’t make it over to plugin repo first time round … so if you notice any problems with URL previews please try downloading and installing a fresh copy of Shopp SEO Glue 1.2 first of all.
Thanks!

Barry,
I just wanted to let you know that while I am aware that this plugin does not currently support the ‘Categories’ post type, it kind of works.
For instance, when I go to edit one of my Shopp categories the WordPress SEO meta boxes show up and they even save the data that I input into them. However, that data does not display on the actual category pages themselves.
Just wanted to point this out to you for future versions of this plugin (if you intend to make any). Seems to me that if the meta boxes show up and save the data, that displaying it would probably be quite easy to do. I’m no PHP programmer or else I’d tackle it myself.
Thanks!
Chris
